      One morning years ago she was on the back of a modest sized yacht catching morning sun while playing this over and over while I was working a boat a few dock slips down,it was one of the nicest treats ever while wrenching away hearing just the bass and occasionally a soft vocals at a perfect sound level.

      I went to college with Linda Taylor. You can find her playing in lot of settings with a lot of artists. She is most visible on the TV show Who's Line Is It Anyway.

    She was simply amazing. WOW! What talent. Not many people have this level of pure talent. She did it all while killing it on the bass. vocals, playmanship and phrasing spot on. Worked the crowd while playing. How many people can do that?

    I was in UK on vacation when the song came out. I purchased the record; back in my country I went to a discotheque and asked the DJ to play it. He said he did not have it yet. I went home to get my copy and he purchased it from me because it got everyone on the dance floor.
    I never forgot...

    I don't care what anyone says,, WE HAD THE BEST music in the 70's and 80's without a doubt. During the disco days, every song got you on the floor. Men and women stayed in shape from it too. hahahaha. Ahhhhhhhh the good 'ol days. There will never be another time in history like it was then. THEE BEST!

      70s to mid 80s plus 60s Motown stuff is my favorite and I'm only 47 (born in 1973). I feel music started going down after 1986. Love it! Most people my age and younger really didn't get into anybody older than Madonna. My top favorites besides disco classics are Diana Ross, Donna Summer, and the Pointer Sisters. For male singers, it's Smokey Robinson and Lionel Richie all the way baby.

    Amazing! Many of the Disco Bands of the 70s actually played their instruments! The Taste of Honey lead singer is a kick ass bass player not just a pretty face .While she is very beautiful I think she deserves high praise for these amazing songs that defined our generation.Kudos and much love!
