    This was a really fun visit. Paul and his wife were most welcoming and we had a great time seeing all of the colorful whirligigs under construction.

    That is an interesting video. I like the whirligigs, all made of local Maine white pine. Nice! 😊

    Very impressive! I'm in the beginnings of making them and I want to get to a point of some standardization so I can knock out a few, but what you have is something else! Folk art is important, you are a good man, I wish you good luck!

      Yes, they are lucky to have a supply of local white pine from Maine. Walston Woodcraft has been making whirligigs for a long time. They have over 60 different designs and sell thousands every year

    I haven’t tryed dipping primer on Do you dip yours it looks efficient.

      I was just touring the workshop. When I make a whirligig, I just paint it the old fashioned way. Thanks for your comment
