Savabeel x Montoya Star '23 Filly - Shane Nichols Racing

We’ve secured a lovely Savabeel filly from the famed Waikato Stud this morning at Karaka. Out of Group 3 winner Montoya Star, this filly has plenty of scope and I loved the way she moved.
Savabeel is a 9-time NZ Champion Sire and has 35 Group 1 winners and counting. Montoya Star was a top-line racehorse in her own right also. She won 9 races from 1400m to 2000m and this is just her second foal. Montoya Star is by High Chaparral which makes this filly bred on the successful cross Savabeel / High Chaparral cross.
Fillies by Savabeel include Probable, Lucia Valentina, Atishu, Shillelagh, Savvy Coup and Orchestral who made a successful return yesterday.
