Great drone footage .... so good to see you are okay. Watch driving over the tree branches, they will pop your tire in a heart beat. Fix spare asap. Hugs. Be safe out there.
I think I understand now why I didn't get too many notifications of the AL tornadoes that passed through.. it was that dangerous wow. I'm glad you're safe!
I literally was right behind you heading towards Greensboro we had just finished catching the Eutaw tornado when everyone bolted south for the big one.
It was cool to meet ya in TX back in March! I also chased dixie for the first time on those high risk days. Not my favorite chasing environment. I hit the damage path of the Brent, AL tornado right after it went through and stopped to help clear a bridge. No visual, but very sobering to see the damage.
The big one was just past midnight that night, right across the border in Newnan, GA. Long-tracked EF4. It’s been a year and it still looks like a bomb went off. Very populated. 1,900 buildings destroyed/damaged.
i was in tennessee when this happend, one of the tornadoes came close to hitting my area. it was night out and i was scared to death, nobody in my family was hurt, i sure am lucky.
You still need to get a strx goblin rc airplane for storm chasing that thing is a 160 mph crazy fast fpv fixed wing and pair it up with the new dji high definition fpv system and it would be great for this
I remember when we got a tornado warning in South Carolina right next to Alabama. The wind was like: ⬅️➡️↗️↘️⬇️↙️ and it was thunder storming really bad... luckily we didn’t see a tornado. We were in a car when it happened
in the winter time im always so casual like summers no big deal storms arent that bad but then when summer hits and it is 2-6pm and its storming im like this WERE GONNA DIE ITS GONNA TURN INTO A SMALL TORNADO THEN HIT US AS AN EF5 WE NEED TO TAKE SHELTER NOW WERE GONNA DIE TAKE SHELTER NOW
I live in West Blocton Alabama i faired better then my sister in-law but still took damage from the first set that came through while Blocton was in clean up they told us to shelter and that is when Brent Alabama was hit
I have a story I live in a small town in CT and we normally just get high winds and normal thunderstorms but on the fateful day of May 15th 2018 a massive storm spawned an EF1 tornado not just that but with high winds all over the place CT was not prepared for this just like earthquakes this is something we rarely get over hear in the North eastern US least to say we have not gotten one here since that I’ve heard of the closet thing we got was a hurricane in august but this storm in 2018 is one of the worst I’ve lived through
Would love to have you chase with me in Dixie Alley! If you ever want to come to Alabama I live right on the Alabama and Tennessee state line, and I have an office that’s got an uncomfortable bed but I’ll give up my room for you. Also you’re more than welcome to all my equipment and radar software for anything you need. Also I can get you closer and out of the terrain since I’ve grown up here my entire life and have been a chaser for years so I have plots of the entire state on my GPS app that is super-imposed on GRL2 Analyst where I can get you the perfect shots for every storm. Let me know when we get another high outlook. You’re more than welcome. Also I have a drone that has been modified and has flown in an EF-3. I had an aluminum shop that makes sirens and Emergency light housings that have made some super mods to my drone. Hail or rain hasn’t brought it down so far this year.
And that it's likely a strong to violent tornado. I hear that a ton with the emergencies. I really hope to chase one of these days but we had stuff going on all of the higher risk days so far. Seeing so many chasing videos is motivating me even more even though weather has been my passion for nearly a decade. Things that got me into it early on were watching Twister, getting nearly hit by a tornado while at Darien Lake in Western NY in July 2009 (it was 2 miles away though), buried by 6 to 7 feet of snow in November 2014. More has happened since then and is super exciting for me, but I can't wait to see the power of the storms in Oklahoma or some of the southern states. Sorry for typing so much, lol. I get really passionate about this. Maybe typing a lot is normal.
You're driving through trees! How can you detect when, prayerfully not, an RFD and then a tornado suddenly comes upon you - too late! You can't see when, you hadn't a clue what could have come *crashing* through those trees - you're lucky to be alive!!! *And* you should've been watching out for downed power lines! Don't *ever* get out of your car in the rain, or no rain, when power lines are down. You could be electrocuted, even if the road is wet - you will be the perfect conductor! Please please avoid driving through trees during a storm chase. No storm chaser likes trees. They can't see. it's spooky, frightening. Just take good care of yourself, okay? Thank you for the video, but my heart goes out to you. I want to see you alive next time. Just watch out! Better still, take advice from seasoned experienced storm chasers! You copy that?
I was out chasing on this day as well, my heart dropped when I saw the tornado emergency pop up on my phone.
Well all I can say is... ur alive and didn't hydroplane
I love you. I just wish your videos were longer. I don’t care if you didn’t see a tornado, it’s the chase and adventure we want to see more of!
Anyone remembers when he used to be a cuber? Just checked back after like 5 years and now I see him chasing tornadoes :O
Yeah I just found this channel today and I was blown away when I saw he was still active on yt but on another channel

Yeah, no kidding. Nice to hear from you again, Mark! I'm probably gonna have to start packing a chainsaw if I keep chasing down there.

Hello
What does tornado emergency mean?
Instead of a possible tornado in the area, it means your city is going to get hit by one.
@@MorePi interesting...

Dixie alley is horrible chasing terrain. We miss chasing in the plains. Much better. Never again in Dixie Alley. Not worth it.
