As a Divine Support Main I can say: Suports that at least 2k damage every TF are good. Supports that Stun 2+ Heroes every 10 seconds are good. Every Support that doesnt is kinda too slow. You need to one shot Cores or Survive being one shot. That's the entire min 30+ game. Something blinks or BKB jumps you and you are Dead. So do the same to them. I was a Willow spammer in 7.34, she kinda feels useless most games that go late. She's an incredible bully against low damage ranged supps and double meele Lanes. Treant also feels useless later on but is kinda good Early. You'd much rather have a WD that can kill 3 people, a Lion that can stun 3 people for 5 seconds or a Silencer Ult that resets after BKB instead of a dispellable root. Treant very strong laner, but doesn't win games that well. He also has very bad HG push. Lich can solo kill Shadow Fiends minute 45, Glock can solo kill Weavers minute 45, Veno and Witch Doctor can turn the entire Fight around with an initiator Off lane (They kinda get picked 24/7). Also farming Supps that turn into cores feel really good aswell. Hoodwink, Weaver, Ogre Magi, Silencer. I get tons of MVPs on these Heroes atm, and many other picks just don't work that great. BKB piercing and PRE bkb hard CC aswell as being able to stun WK before his ult and directly after his ult is at utmost important since WK and Lifestealer are spammed in pubs atm. So if you solo Q, don't try to play setup supps but Jumping supps or counter jumping supps. Any blink Hex/stun is great. Anything that counters that (Disruptor/Oracle f.e.) is also great. Also get ready to TP counter gank 24/7. Seems to be Meta with all the Venge and Night Stalker comps. At least that's my feeling right now after 200+ supp games in 7.36/b.
Nice summary, i would like to add gimmick heros to your pool if your cores give you second phase pick... like jungle stacking 9 slot facet techies, drum e shroud or drum lotus ench, and surprise enigma ... also if you are a god tier pudge even shitty sniper drafts are winnable

good thoughts. i personally dislike silencer unless I'm picking it 2nd or last. the enemies usually get heroes like jug or ursa where silencer is useless if he is picked early. but silencer is awesome if you have some amazing wombos you want to protect like enigma blackhole, or if you want the enemy to buy an early bkb/dispel. the best pos5 in my current bracket right now are lich/rhasta/disruptor/wd as highly contested/banned. they release skills and if you die, doesn't matter. completely up to your carries whether they can kill the enemies or not.

tbf, it's not that op. Just don't trade with him. He's not that strong in engagements. When you get a Lich nova into CK stun, you prolly just dead. Maledict and Vodoo won't help you survive or fight back in the slightest. Just if your supp 1v1 him at Warding and overstays. Either make him waste mana and regen your hp or jump him with double cc.

Why? Did any of them hurt your feelings? You do realise WD is much weaker then it use to be right? You had a decent ulti, you could provide AoE heal AND damage, so now you got to pick one, and your damage is bs, your main reason to exist is to provide heal for your carry that can do real damage, stun the enemy and give your carry that will kill the enemy end let your carry walk with 100hp and a kill. Now you get no impact on the game since you do no damage, you get jumped and killed instantly, you provide your carry no reason to even hel your worthless ass, so nobody helps you when you get jumped. This meta literally destroyed support class. I didn’t have such bad scores for 10 years, nothing works, I am yet to have a single fun game, I never win…. My team wins but not me because I didn’t had a real impact, so for me is still a lost game, it so happens the winners to be in my team, so it is not WD, it is you who is trash. If you got own by this WD you need to be reported and banned for account buying or matchmaking manipulation
Of f.. off with your veno. It is so trash these days. It is my no 1 hero and it is useless compared to what it was. It use to be strong and then drop off, and they made it to be weak from the start. ‘But it gets better’ yes, thank you for explaining the concept of levelling up, but it never gets better, because carry now start stronger then you and get much stronger then you are getting, so all you do now is to ward, de-ward and provide slow for half of game, until the enemy carry gets their BKB, and you can’t even pretend to be useful anymore. I love how Valve’s idea of a balanced game are useless support and invulnerable carry at the same time.

Veno plague is broken. I've played this hero and won it around 25-30mins game so strong at laning and gives so much space for cores Also plague wards provide so much visions

I play muerta sup 24/7, pos 4/5 and feel good about her. Got a lot of mmr from 5k6 to currrently 6k7. I don’t think much. Just play the hero i enjoy

Ban WD every time until Voodoo Festeration is nerfed a bit, particularly the mana cost. It's annoying having to build items against him.
