I never heard of this before now. I live on the Canadian western prairies, lots of wind and endless snow covered farmland in my surrounding area. I know how to snowboard but I've never "kited" before, nevertheless this looks SO FUN!
seems scary af. i kite myself and trust me these tings aren't really made for paragliding xD its possible tho but u need a lot of confidance and skill ;)
You gotta try it, the hardest part is flying the kite the board part is fairly easy since you lean back and the lines have tension and support you from falling over as if someone is always holding you
Jerowan Cyran you can do it in the middle of a field and also over a frozen lake is best and much safer then anything else on a frozen lake because the kite keeps you above the ground due to the tension on the lines you can lift up your legs for a split second and the kite will keep you in the air as if your hanging off something
I did this before I learned before I learned to waterstart in water. It's really easy if you you know how to control kite. If you know how to ski or snowboard, you will have no problems!
@@whatsupbudbud If you’re just starting out, it’s easier than in water for sure. It’s somewhat like trying to ski slightly uphill, same movements and position. Just pointing and leaning in the direction you want to go.
