@@jonk2900 Haha. True. Last weekend I was with some new riders learning to put their sled on edge in neutral. They were struggling on an M8 and a Khaos but when they had a go on the Alpha they suddenly got it. Easy to edge, but also easy to over ride like you say.
I just got a used 2019 alpha one I’m not the most experienced riding so still in the learning process. Do you ride those sleds like your would any other or do you have to ride it a bit different with the single rail. I noticed when making turns even when standing on the inside it wanted to roll the opposite way I wanted to turn. I didn’t remember our dual rail doing that last year. Thoughts?
Congrats on the sled. The physics of turning are the same. Don't know what kind of snow you're on, but my guess would be you are not counter steering enough. The tippy nature of the single rail exposes this more than when on a dual rail. One good thing about the Alpha is that just the slightest amount of counter steering and weight transfer to the inside board will have that thing pop up on one ski with almost no effort.
@@AkatarawaJapan ok awesome thanks for the input. Still need to get comfortable on the machine for sure. Next time we go might start trying to get it on edge a bit more and riding one foot forward. Feels so strange lol
Always bring a shovel with you. Ski-pulls are often more effective than you might think. "Pin-and-wiggle" works sometimes if the snow is right. And it can also be quite useful when you are just about to get stuck!
Wow, big fun! thank you!! Leaving full support my friend.
Have a Lovely Day 💝Greetings! like34
I just slammed my keyboard and this is what youtube found
Good to see you on the snow! How many days did you achieve to ride this year so far? It’s seem you are back at blipping the throttle . ;)
Hey there P’s A. Riding pretty much every day when not too beaten up by crashes. I promise to check into blip rehab and return smooth shaven.
Dude you almost did a RIO!! Try it again i bet you get it!! Looks fun! Looked at a 21 154x2.6 hc yesterday. Still dunno what to get lol!!
Half-baked Plan A turned into even worse Plan B. The 154 HC is a fun sled but I crashed mine hard and am waiting on parts.
Get one Charles.
Then prepare to be ejected when you override it into the sun set.

Have you considered upgrading your camera? 😁

This video on edging your sled might be useful. Search "Snowmobile techniques you can steal from skiing" and it should come up.

Do you have any tips for when u get stuck but its not steep enough to roll the sled, but to mellow or lowsnow to just throttle it out?
