I also never have seen the bezel that is on my watch, which the store I bought it from, link in the description, offer many other model to choose from. Fantastic build video Hayri!!! There's a lot to be said about that special feeling of accomplishment when you finally get all the tiny components assembled and working perfectly!! Watch collecting is an addiction all on it's own. Modding/building your own custom automatic watches becomes a separate addiction. The highs and lows are priceless!!! (I'm addicted to both) You built a really nice looking watch and did an awesome job of doing it from behind a camera!!!! I'm a huge fan of lumed details on watches and I think your choice of lumed parts go together perfectly!!! Thanks for all your work and sharing this with us. I look forward to many more builds!!!! Thanks Adam, it was and is everything I hoped for, can't remember the last time I cherished a watch this much 🙂It seems like I made the right choices in parts and have a second build already in mind. Actually I do have two in mind but one of them is quite a bit more expensive and I have to wait till I can afford it. I also started with Aliexpress affiliate links and maybe I can get a buck or two from referrals 🙂I am also looking forward for the weather to get warmer so I can make my first knife, currently looking for parts to build a forge. So many more videos about more topics to come, not to mention that I want to finish my streetfighter bike project, although more to be able to sell it and buy my wife a car, since she started to get her drivers license. It sure will be a busy year 🙂Take care and stay safe my friend.

Hayri, I didn't know you were into watches. Fascinating!
I collected watches for many years. Mainly solar powered and radio controlled models.
None of the solar ones work anymore.
Also, all the ones with tritium vials don't shine no more.
These two factor alone show the age of my collection.
Need to make a new one.

You should have guessed it with the amount of electronic watches I make, 😂 Yes, I used to collect and did have some rather nice ones before, even a Rolex Submariner, that I unfortunately had to sell in not so good times I had, to literally put food on the table. I also used to had a nice Seiko watch that got stolen from my house by so called "friends".
And then life got in between and I had bought some "normal" priced watches and somehow, don't remember which one was first, I found out about custom put together watches either on RUclips or Aliexpress and my idea was born. Anyway, it is nice with all the options out there to put together a watch that you like. Already have a second watch idea but need to find the right time to tell my wife 🙂 although she does buy more perfume than I buy watches. have to remember that argument now, hehe. All jokes aside, I am really a low maintenance man, don't smoke (my wife does), don't drink (my wife occasionally has a glass of wine) and do not gamble which my wife does sometimes buy lottery tickets 🙂 luck has not struck us yet 🙂 Anyway stay safe and thanks for your comment.

You buy the perfect watch and then immediately there is another you desire. Why?
This is not true of other artifacts - except maybe guitars and cars and greener grass.
Perhaps if you're making your own then the wanderlust is reduced.

@@nikthefix8918 I would say it's like the weather, we complain if it is too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer 🙂As for cars, since I do like them, I would go for different styles, right now a have a 300C wagon, would like a 2 door for sporty driving, a SUV for bad roads and a chopper for country side cruising 🙂As for watches I do have a smart watch, when it decides to work, a drum roll watch, sports watch, a few quartz watches, now this new one and would like something like a dress watch for those formal days, which is probably just an excuse by me to build another one, lol. Since I did build my watch winder, I need to put it to use, by having the "other" watch wind while I wear one. Because this one only comes off at night 🙂and does not need any external winding. But I have another small project/gadget in mind, that will have a UV LED periodically light up the watch at night, so it has always full lume whenever I wake up at night and look at the watch, hehe. Otherwise I am a modest man, with only a handful of pairs of shoes and pants.
Believe me, I am looking at my watch every 5 minutes or so, lol.
@@iHayri1 Ah, yes, the Casio UV illuminator watches. I bought one. I thought the potential was amazing but the layout looked too 'Mickey Mouse'. If it had been more 'adult' then I think it would be the perfect illumination for a watch. I hope they make more but they seem to have stopped.
BTW, I confess to being a watch collector but I never wear a watch.
@@nikthefix8918 🙂 I even thought, with having a background of designing PCB's to make my own watch dial out of PCB, so that would be another reason/excuse to build yet another one. I did not wear a watch for a long time either, but this one changed my mind, it would be a shame not wearing it 🙂
