Das fällt einem als erstes auf, wenn man Nicole trifft. Nicole liebt das Leben. Sie liebt es, zu lachen und neue Sachen auszuprobieren. Das ist beeindruckend. Denn das Leben hat es nicht immer gut mit ihr gemeint. „Unexpected“ - unerwartet traf sie bereits zwei Mal die Diagnose Krebs; genau wie 220.000 andere Frauen, die jährlich in Deutschland daran erkranken. Trotz oder gerade aufgrund ihrer unheilbaren Diagnose lebt die 41jährige jeden Tag mit Freude, genießt das Leben in vollen Zügen - soweit es die Krankheit und die Therapie zulassen. Deshalb war sie auch begeistert, im Videoclip zum neuen Oceana Song „Unexpected“ mitzuspielen, der heute beim dreamball, der großen Charity-Gala von der gemeinnützigen Organisation DKMS LIFE, erstmalig präsentiert wurde.
