*As a Queenslander* Gus is right. When faced with adversity Queensland fell apart instead of digging deep. NSW had more energy, aggression, determination, and enthusiasm. They pulled through us, went round us, or past us. It's like QLD spent their preparation camp singing Kumbaya or something.

why? because he played during an era of a QLD team that had 5 or 6 future immortals in it? How many times have NSW sports media personalties called QLD certain names only to get their pants pulled down, winning game 2 by a thrashing in that first half means absolutely nothing come game 3. This always ends up biting them on the rear end, Gal called them “the worst QLD team in history” a few years ago and can someone remind me what happened after that. And before some idiot says "they got the ball a heap in the second half", when you're already down 34-0 its hardly going to matter.
