Big D in America has been switching over to titebond hide glue for set necks and fret board glue ups. Some say it increases the neck to body resonance but who really knows! Same with purists who claim potting, coil spliting and hand wired pups aren't kosher. Who really knows really. Sounds good is sounds good!! I really think the amp and speaker combination is the most important. But I'm a fricking drummer so no real credibility!

I haven't tried titebond hideglue, I may well do when I run out for fretboards and neck pockets. My comments about glue in this video were really just about ease of unsetting certain joints, I hadn't really considered the tonal properties of wood glue vs titebond because I've never played a guitar constructed with it

Speak up I have full volume and your hard to hear, struggling to hear you. Reposition your audio or as they say in the military ... Sound like you have a pair!
