Full list of differences: 1. Eyes. On the fake, they are further down and to the right of the image. The pupils are also ever so slightly smaller on the fake. 2. Face and head. The fake is less bottom-heavy on the cheek, and the head is overall slightly smaller. 3. Shadow. The original has a shadow on the body to show that its on top of the legs, the fake doesn't. 4. Tail. The original tail is longer. 5. Colors. The fake's colors are slightly brighter. 6. Whisker thickness. The whiskers on the fake are thicker. 7. Mouth shape. The mouth on the original is slightly flatter and longer. All of this is not a criticism BTW, I find the fake one more visually appealing than the original. ^^"

Tawog is one of those shows that really wasn’t afraid to go out there and experiment The show has thousands of different styles of animation, and unlike a lot of other shows it isn’t obnoxious or all up in your face, it’s kinda weird when you watch it for the first time but after like 3 episodes you really get used to it, the characters really fit in with the 3d like background and after season 1 the animation really started to pick up, and I feel like season 2 was probably the best out of all of them, every episode was hilarious where it would constantly hit you with a joke and if one joke wasn’t funny they wouldn’t drag it out and make it even worse, they’d just move on to something even funnier, since the animation is “experimental” there would always be so so sooo many visual gags, the amount of stuff they had to work with in terms of comedy was insane, and they definitely delivered, tawog will always have a special place in my heart, as one of if not the best cartoon network show of the 2000s-2020s

Just to add: the Arm and Legs are actually rigged instead of animated by frame. that's why in the show they look smooth. There's a bone tool in Adobe Animate that comes in handy, using the inverse kinematic features should help with animating the legs and arms.

Isn't that like an actual requirement for cartoon characters? If they can be easily replicated you can hire pretty much anybody with the art skill above a 10 year old and you don't have to waste your time with extreme detail

This really makes you appreciate the amount of work that goes into animation on this show. It takes a lot of effort to animate Gumball even if he isn't re-drawn every frame; and this is just for one character! Now imagine having to do this for dozens of characters in several different styles!

The walk cycle looks pretty off, but everything else is awesome
It's probably because he is just moving his legs only. Normally during a walk cycle the character also changes their body height position.
