Thank you so much for your videos. Could you do a video on coconut soy with wood wicks. I have a hard time with figuring out if I have the right wick after resting. I also use the wick recommendations from wicksy but have experienced sink holes and not getting a even burn. If there’s not a sink while the wax is on the sides of the jar. Not having a even burn. So I’m not sure if I’m using the right size wood wick. Any advice would be great!
What size are your vessels and how did you get your name down the side off them that’s a cool touch thanks
Hi Jeff, in your opinion what is your favorite wax to work with for candles? I'm just starting out. Also, do you customize labels for the vessels? I would be very interested if you do.
Im having issues with A05 coco soy, the wax isn’t hardening and it’s always sweating, what reason could it be ?
Thank you in advance 🙏
Looking forward to the results. I've been working with A05 and I found issues with sinkholes to be nearly eliminated if poured at lower temps. It's still primarily soy so I needed to treat it like that. I get great smooth glossy tops everytime.
Not crazy about the post burn appearance. It's not the worse though. But, I've been experimenting with a Coco83 blend as well as a a blend with lower percentage of the MST additive than the M12.
Hi, what temperature do you then pour at A05 and M12?
@@davoreno around 115-125°F
What is soy wax how it is made
Does using coconut soy trigger allergies??
Hi is it 54mls or grams ? 8%
Is it possible to remove wicks that were adhered with RTV, for example if you wanted to reuse the candle vessels?
You can get some solvents that will help.
There are so many great candle suppliers you have in the US. There’s not a huge variety here in little old New Zealand (down the bottom of the world some people say lol). We’ve got maybe half a dozen, online stores n that’s it sadly😞I’d really love b(to try some of the types of waxes/wicks that we can’t get here and some fragrances as well. When I see something that looks great. I have to go without cause none of them even post to Australia, let alone little old NZ 😕
You’re lucky to have Luxury Candle Supplies next to you though. They have a great selection.
I must ask you how did you do the putting your name on the vessel in gold....it looks amazing
I had a company make those for me. Unik Portrait
Thanks for sharing! What were the dimensions for the vessels you used?
They’re about 4” tall and 3.75” wide.
Thank you!
I'm starting a small business to sell at markets in Rome Italy. Soy i never get a get throw. Help
Soy can be tricky, I would test multiple styles of wick in the wax if you haven't.
Is the coconut soy wax all natural, clean burning, and non toxic?
It’s very clean. The ingredients are here

I’ve temp given up on candlemaking 😢just can’t get it right
What are you struggling with?
@@StandleyHandcrafted I bit of everything it seems I can’t get one candle to be ok with everything, if I’m saying this right. I have coco soy. Also tried beeswax with a little paraffin to put in my bee kits. I used the wick suggested for the size jar and the flame was tiny and pool wasn’t large enough🤷♀️
Cd be half a dozen things? Wick? Flame too high/ not enough…
If I sell a candle it has to be perfect or they won’t re purchase.
Edit ..apricot soy
Which do you prefer the M12 or the AO5?
I prefer the M12, the A05 is the same wax in the M12 though without the additive. A05 throws nice but the M12 is definitely stronger.
@@StandleyHandcrafted what is your favorite of all time wax? Like top 3? ❤
I've temporarily given up as well. And i have about $1,000 worth of vessels, coco apricot wax, and fragrance oils. I bought my wax and fragrance oils from Virginia Candle Supply and the fragrance is not strong enough and the eco wicks mushroom and produce black smoke. Nothing is working
Have you tried different styles of wicks? That’s usually the biggest culprit to low scent throw, not the oils.
I only tried eco and a cherry wood wood wick
@@kennettaevans7124 I would get two or three more types and try those in the same vessels and recipe that you’re doing to see how they perform.
@@StandleyHandcrafted any specific wicks you suggest with coco apricot wax?
I like to reuse jars. Will the rtv be impossible to remove?
