James didnt hated jason more than anyone else. Lars was the one that wanted to kick him out right after he started in the band. Jason respected james and the reason to why jason quited the band was because he was ingnored by, only not james but everyone else and because james didnt let him play hes own music
There´s a lot of things that happend between them after the Black Album tourings, Now we knoe Lars was behind the Buried Bass on Justice, what people never brings is that Jason did fucked up for a while as well, he was allowed to do other side projects untill that screw with the Metallica schedule, in fact Echobrain was his forth side project, First IR8 (With Tom hunting i belive and Pete Towsend, yup him) a band wich saddly got their demo lifted and played at a local radio exploting Jason´s status in metallica wich didn´t please James and lars, then Papa Willie´s Project and Sexoturica and finally Echobrain, also he used to fucked with every decition Lars took in Load and Reload been in his own words "his pebble in the shoe".

@@danielhenry4614 Ya james had the Boogie Mark iv or iic+ in his rig at this time for sure, the Marshall mini stacks were Kirk's probably just for practice and shit. But I think Kirk was a user of Marshall around this time for his main chain, not sure though.

@@danielhenry4614 Arent the Mesa Mark's hard to get a certain tone like Metallicas when being new to the amp?it takes a few weeks to get used to, I know their amps are mid scooped but there's gotta be things that are added to get their tones to push out more, I know james used some preamps to spice up his tones, but either way I would just keep messing with the amp and dialing until you get that similar tone, and probably could use a preamp.

They even stand in the same spots. In terms of bass, rhythm/vocals/ and lead. I like Rob but I really, really miss Jason. Wish he was still in that spot. Sidenote: James looks super skinny here. On stage he looks massive but here he just looks so...thin.
