Your spot on Ben in this day and age with the high cost of living now it's sensible to stick to a budget and those glass cages tanks look of high quality
Congrats on that project, spectacular work. Sorry I couldn't make the live today. Got busy with weekend activities lol. I'll dive back in next week. And what a great way to reuse your fish supplies. I've accumulated a full 55 gallon tote of heaters , filters , and media over the years. It's nice to pick from your own supplies when a heater or filter fails rather than having to run to the store 😆
They look even more amazing in person! Really high-quality stuff from Glass Cages. I am seriously considering NOT moving any of my tanks to Tennessee and just buying new instead. Maybe I can work out a deal with Glass Cages now that I've seen the quality of their work! The Red Terror is looking happy in there. You’ll have to keep us updated on how the plant thing goes.
Ben, Nice I am so glad you were able to get the new 55 gals up and running. The green terror looks really happy in the tank and the other 55 gal planted tank looks amazing now. Good decorating idea to have the open room on one side and on the other have the open space. I am about to break down two tanks and downsize to three tanks. The wife wants me to downsize so I am going to be moving some fish around also. Probably a good idea anyway the fish are in my office and I hardly get to enjoy them. Unless I am working.
I've got one of those newer aqeon 55s .when I set it up think I'll get a small piece of all thread couple small pieces of aluminum angle some washers and nuts .place them across the middle .... for piece of mind🤔

I agree with keeping everything. I have boxes of old stuff. Love the pink rocks.

When you're in town let's set up a visit to GC and I can introduce you to Joe. He's a great guy.
Yer Ben the euro bracing take an enormous amount of stress off the silico. Them tanks will last 20 years or more 👍

Good luck with that move. It should be smooth with reusing some of your established beneficial bacteria.
I have a 55 aqeon from the late 90s and the plastic frame on top of it seems a little thicker. Still using it👍

Thank you for your support of the channel.
What specifically are you asking me about?
Hi! Ben! My Aqeuon 55 & 75 gallon tanks have center braces. Did yours break? Mine have been running for years.
Top braces cracked and separated on both tanks.
I know its too late now but wouldnt u rather use 75 gal instead of 55 I like 75 better cuz its 6” deeper i hate 12” tanks
I talk about that at 6:00
what tanks are these?
Go to 7:30 in the video
Thanks Ben
Why spend to much money in stand when do You can make cinder block stand for 30 dollar
Some don’t like that cinder block look
