We saw this , "live",
at Chichester Theatre,
England, in 1970's.
Different costumes,
but equally well done.

It's neat seeing Stephen McHattie and Richard Chamberlain in this together. A few years after this, they both went on to star in Centennial, a fantastic miniseries.

There are a few versions of this on RUclips, including Gielgud's and talentless Branagh's amdram offerings, but this is the best. Horrible quality, tho :(

Act one : I did see this before,
and recognised Stephen
McHattie, who played
the terrifying " native
American " in
"Lonesome Dove "....
He was memorable
for his portrayal of
what you might call
a deranged criminal...
It's not often you see
such scarey intensity ...
Must Google : is there a
slight Welsh accent
there ? 🤔
