"Purple Pincher" Caribbean Hermit Crabs

Some clips of my "Purple Pincher" or Caribbean Hermit Crabs.
These guys will live over 30 years and grow to the size of a softball with the proper care.
Their care includes deep moist substrate, high humidity, a warm environment, and pools for them to completely submerge in.
Hermit crabs are very social animals that should live in groups of 3 or more. In the wild they will gather in groups of hundreds.
