That's a disingenuous question. You know exactly why it's about Bruno. It was a recent incident and he got away with it. It only makes sense to compare these two incidents. I mean it's not like it happens every week in the Premier league.
Hilarious you can spot the Utd fans defending Bruno and even Casemiro, just be humble and accept you got away with further bans, it's not that hard. That Liverpool game if reviewed by the letter of the law rather than the ref allowing bad fouls, Utd would have been down to 7 or 8 men.
It's about double standards in the league, one for players in "big clubs", the other for those in "small clubs"

No one mentioned the linesman being handsy with Bruno. And these are the same people saying the missed red card in the Chelsea match should not affect the Casemiro red card in the Southampton game. Now all of sudden since Bruno didn't get a red card and Mitrovic did it's a problem. Frank was right all these guys hate Manchester United and especially Bruno.

Lol not only did Mitrovic push the ref, he squared up to him and was verbally abusive. He was clearly threatening the ref. Steve nicol would bend over backwards if it meant going against United. Dont players get yellow or red carded based on the gravity of the offence then why not judge bruno’s push in context to mitro’s shove
To me Bruno so called "push" was over exaggerated. He was just giving a quick tap but Matovic was pusing the ref like he about to have a street fight
You don't "quick tap" the réf, you don't touch the réf. It was a clear red and a ban. All this controversy is now because they let him get away with it.

Lol, the 2 incidents aren't same at all. Answer this question, who touched who first? Player or referee?
An honest analysis would say that Bruno should have gotten a yellow card. In that setting though, it was probably the call of the assistant ref to call him out on it but even the ref didn't make anything of that contact. Mitrovic deserved the red. There's a reason why there are yellow and red cards and these two incidents a perfect illustration of the two.

The referee didn't handle the situation properly. He let it get out of control. He word to the manager for whatever he said would have deescalated the whole situation, but he was quick to produce a red card. Soft generation.

Perhaps it was a yellow card offense, but it would have been unfair because the linesman would have had to be sanctioned as well. Secondly, Frank reasoning is skewed by his hatred for Man United. Everybody else forgets the fact that after the ref gave Mitrovic the red card, Mitrovic continues to antagonize the ref even further. So you equalize and say Bruno pushed the referee, so it cancels out what Mitrovic did. What about everything else that happened after the Mitrovic red card?

It's binary, either you shoving a ref with any sort of aggression is NOT ALLOWED at all, or you're creating a standard that it IS 100% allowed & acceptable as long as you don't yell at the same time, because that's the only real difference between these two (or that they play for Clubs of different statures, if we want to go there).

Terrible example for our youth. Institute rugby rules already. Only the captain can address the ref, with respect. Otherwise it’s a automatic yellow for either team getting in the refs face. This is terrible behavior and unbelievable that the top level in the world allows this type of behavior
Bruno Fernández got away with pushing the linesman, there is no way it was as bad as Mitrovic but again they failed in not disciplining him and have opened themselves up to interpretations of the rules. They can't say its ok to push a linesman no matter what the situation and then want the book throwing at another pkayer

Fernandes should have gotten a Red Card too. But just a red card & off for 3 games at must!

You can't ever touch a referee. Not giving some punishment to Bruno Fernandez was a mistake. Mitrovic should get a ban for longer than the standard 3 games. I say 4-5 (10 matches seems harsh)

@@precious-5016 haha obviously not. We already try to break up fights and confrontations (like a mediator or police officer) between players, this was the same, the AR tried to keep Bruno and TAA away from each other. I feel like a ref gets in between 2 players every single game, right?
