I would have DEFINITELY called it too. I would've called it from behind the plate without Base Umpire's confirmation. Yes, he did go around. No idea what coach was even coming out to argue. Enjoy the game from the livestream, coach.
??? why is the plate ump checking with the base ump on a check swing when in B ??? He doesn't have any better angle then the plate guy. Didn't go but how is the base guy suppose to see that.
I agree with you on the confirmation with a base ump not in correct position to confirm, but I don't know why he didn't see for himself that the batter went around on that one. Unsuccessful check swing in my opinion, but hey, we call them as we see them. BU definitely should've ejected as soon as coach crossed the foul line.
Yeah 2:53 is a out 100% stop frame at 2:55 and you'll see the glove hitting the wrist before his hand touched. It was super close so not a terrible call.
Some of the players in the dugout are annoying with all that nonsense yelling at all times lol It's not even funny its a cocky kid try to steal the spot light. There is a difference in supporting ur team and just making dumb sounds thru all the innings non stop lol
Chase is a great coach. One of the most chill coaches i’ve ever had. If he felt the need to say something it was for a good reason. I don’t know exactly what was said but regardless, he didn’t show up the umpire or anything crazy. That ejection was completely unnecessary. i played for him in a WWBA one year, back when they were just Sticks Baseball Academy not White Sox Scout. Had a hell of a time and majority of the kids playing for them are absolute DOGS. It’s been cool to see how far they’ve come since 2017.
HPU SUCKS. Calling strikes that are chest high, outside, low. @5:41 & 8:47 strike called 1-2” off the plate. @15:45, that idiot at 2nd calling a check swing a strike. @16:33 & 16:42 strike a foot out.
He said he told him how many missed calls he had. Automatic eject. Then to ask if he had a kid on team? Passive aggressive comment after being tossed. Basically accusing him of cheating. Dump him and move on.
On the ejection, the base umpire should have ejected the head coach the second he walked past the foul line to talk to him about the check swing. You cannot argue balls-strikes, and it doesn't get more egregious than that. This is putting aside that we can all see that it shouldn't have been called a strike but as the ump, you have to back your own call at that point.
Called strikes, two inches off the plate. Strikes chest high, a foot outside, a check swing called a strike from 2nd. All of these calls I paused at impact. Incredible how bad the umpires are.
The home plate umpire laughed at the coach because he was a clown. You don't go over to tell an ump he missed his 3rd call against you and expect to stay in the game.
These umpires are a joke. Not only did blue at 2nd base make a horrible call, with calling the check swing @ 15:45 a strike, but he’s at 2nd @10:45, no one on second and misses a pick off play, bc he should’ve been at 1st. Then he goes to 1st after the play. Were these clowns bumped up from lil league?
I agree with the first part of your comment, ump missed the call at 3rd 100%. As for the positioning with a runner on 1st, in a 2 man umpire system the base umpire is supposed to be in the B position, aka 2nd base, for a potential steal or any other play at 2nd. With 3 umpires he would be at 1st base and in a better position for pickoffs.
@@hookwaddell8102 homie… you aren’t even educated enough to have an opinion. You have zero concept of where the umpires should be so why would anyone listen to ANYTHING you have to say? Your knowledge of the game is “little league.”

Honest question, if all of these boys have committed to these big Uni's why are they risking injury playing? Why wouldn't they be doing offseason workouts like real players do? Still buying that PG marketing hype????
They could also be underclassmen who have committed but not officially signed their LOI. You play summer ball to get better and to let other colleges see you and maybe send a bigger NIL deal your way plus it’s the only way for MLB scouts to see you as well
Base umpire out of his league that was a very meager ejection not even story worthy embarrassing the profession with that soft ejection pot belly one arm bandit “out” lol ….”you got a kid on this team” lmao crooked blue
@@NateDogMXtv would not agree on the swing call. You can still see the cup of the bat even at .25 speed. Definitely didn't go. But again I can't expect a base ump to get that call being his angle is way worse than the plate guy being in B. Plate ump shouldn't be asking a base ump in the middle of the field.
2:50 def got him at 3rd
he was out by a mile. dont know how you miss that call tbh
Fr that was an awful call
I screamed OUT when I saw that in real time.....how did he call safe?
straight up balk on the second batter no one caught but the batter himself
Postgame interview with the coach had me
“so many fuckin walks” had me so weak
blue was giving that lil lefty every call/pitch he wanted, dang
I was confused asf bro, he was giving him calls on the batters box line? Not giving those for anyone else
