Since the last Update ( August 2021) , Raceroom is just amazing now ! I ran on ACC and iRacing and i've totally switch by Raceroom . FFB, sounds etc , the upgrade is really impressive.
There must be something wrong with my ears. All the comments seem to think ACC sounds best. To me iRacing is clearly my favourite. I own ACC and RR but do not own iRacing so I'd like to think I'm not biased.
You're not biased, having driven both the iR and ACC 718, the sound in iR is a lot more clear and crisp. In ACC you get a lot of noise that is maybe more immersive, but very confused and disturbing IMHO.
@@harrygaylordrums The extra sound shouldn't be considered in comparison. ACC seems to play those external sounds too loud, it helps understand car positioning but isn't realistic. Both other games have the options available to increase road and kerb noise, tyre scrub and opponent cars but are more realistic by default.
I have Raceroom and ACC but Raceroom does it better sound and physic wise. ACC also a great game but boring, due to the lack of cars and content. Raceroom has so many different classes/cars and the force feedback in Raceroom is just better. Both game really good but Raceroom is better compared to ACC.
I currently having terrific fun on CP races in acc, i now exclusively race gt4 bmw m4 car and this package satisfies almsot all my needs. I love iracing profile, report and result side but the pricing and outdated engine does really put me off. I wish acc would have similar mentioned profile and result system as in iracing even just for cp races. Raceroom on the other hand doesnt have anything to offer for my use case.
I agree with everything you say, if ACC actually used the ratings like iRacing it would be an amazing thing! I wish they would try to do special events too once a month (or to coincide with real races) I'd easily pay for the pleasure.
I love these side-by-side comparisons you do. ACC is clearly the superior product in terms of graphics and sound of the 3. I'm not a fan of the physics in iRacing (or the forums .. eugh, or the price structure), but clearly there is some merit there as the accuracy of the track scan seemed to match ACC. RaceRoom's offering is terrific fun, so it's challenge to pick just one.
If the pricing in iRacing changed, I'd probably play more but practically renting the content and not owning it really puts me off, at least let me drive the cars offline lol, I'd be happy with that.
@@SoapSimRacer Yeah I hear that. And it's so expensive compared to the stuff we do actually own. I get that the online infrastructure is expensive, but the monthly sub pays for that. I guess it's just capitalism in action.
Honestly, physics wise the 718 in ACC feels lifeless and numb. Driving the same car on the limit in iR is an experience a lot more satisfying. Driving this week the car on the Nordschelife you clearly can understand what's the meaning of driving a 400hp mid engine car without aero, it's visceral. Not for everyone clearly, but not everyone can drive a 718 GT4 on the green hell in reality.

You hear a lot more noises in ACC because the layers of sounds are more complicated and in terms sound more like a race car.

ACC sounds like someone played back Raceroom's sound in a baked bean can.
If possible, next time add the replay view aswell, so that we can see which game does the best sound implementation.

both iracing and raceroom sounds way less synthetic than acc. acc sounds so flat and digital.
ACC beats the shit out of everything.
Graphics of iRacing are a joke, especially the environment is very low polygon.
