Nah mate the SD card I inserted turned out to be incompatible with the Hero7 White (256GB) so I bought GoPro's top camera at the time Hero8, well worth A$445. Watch the M8 videos I did not too long ago and notice the difference in quality. 😃
Thanks for the kind words nontheless!

Picton Road is an interesting one, I would like to see it upgraded to dual carriageway one day but we’ll see. I never used it much so didn’t affect me.

Great drive as always! I've seen plans for a grade separation of the intersection at the bottom of Mount Ousley Road, will be nice to see once it's done. Also never understood why the Picton Road offramp is so tight :P

Thanks for the kind comment! Mount Ousley has always been a problem for heavy vehicles going down in particular, cars cut across the left lane at the top from Picton Road and at the bottom to exit for Wollongong.
I'm pretty sure the sharp turn is just something they didn't upgrade when they made most of it grade seperated. Given how wide the road is just after turning off that may have been 2 way traffic meeting at a T junction with the M1 back in the 70s or something imagine that now!

@@DrivesDownUnder haha certainly interesting. I love seeing how the roads have evolved over the years

I agree with other commenters here. Picton Road needs to be upgraded to dual carriageway, 2 lanes each way.

I did say previously as Picton Road goes through environmentally sensitive land and have gone through upgrades over the years Picton Road may only be a divided road. Recently the govt set funding for upgrading Heathcote and Picton Road for upgrades, dual carriageway wherever possible so it may become reality soon!

Great video! I'd love to see Picton Road upgraded to dual carriageway/motorway from end to end one day given its such an important freight route. I've driven that road past midnight just to see a congo line of trucks, its amazing.

They did a bunch of upgrades over the last few years as seen in this video, I can only see it being a divided road for the full length in the future as it is only a B standard road and cuts through environmentally sensitive land. I've driven on Appin Road at about 11pm before and yes there sure are a lot of trucks running through those roads at the dead of night!
