Thanks for sharing your workday, Ryza. I'm glad that your internship was the gateway to your position at the company. It's a win-win situation for both you and the company, as you both get to know each other. Glad you shared about feeling the imposter syndrome. It's something to which I and many people can relate. You had the best response to it, and that was to look at it as an opportunity to continue to learn. Wishing you much continued success with your career! 👍
I'm jealous man. My dream is to be a software engineer in Japan just like you. You're lucky to have a career now. I got no degree so my chances are so low. But I'm still doing my best to get necessary certifications and improve my frontend dev skills and be qualified. It's gonna take a looong time...
I had a question... I am a student in high school still (i guess in japan it would be year 11 - 12). Have you got any advice for any students on becoming a software engineer? I am active on linkedin, and I am fluent in python, Java, and SQL. Is there a routine / habit / mindset I should develop, what should I start to work toward, etc...
I'm a backend engineering i just start my career in this field, and totally junior developer , i'm asking how to get a job software engineer at japan hehe
@@guglielmobartelloni hi there, I studied here for my undergraduate (engineering) and master’s (bioinformatics and data science). Then, I got a job after completing my master’s. I did many internships during my studies too.
@@ryzaryhi! If you’re comfortable with sharing, what university in Japan did you attend? I am thinking of applying to Temple University since it is also English based but was also looking into other options
@@maridiancomer7635 Hi! I went to Tokyo Institute of Technology. My undergraduate program was in English, it’s called GSEP. My graduate program was also fully in English, it’s called IGP-C.
I studied Engineering for undergrad and completed a research-based master’s program in the intersection of Data Science and Biology. Although I started learning how to code by myself through online courses (Coursera, Udemy, etc).
