I 100% agree. WHO in their right mind would hire a 28 year-old for a "senior" position like this? The only answer I can think of is, she would do ANYTHING illegal for Sam any time he would hand her some money. At that point, who cares what she looks like? The perfect patsy. Assuming she is some kind of "registered accountant" ....she should be guilty of her own "professional charters".

Ellison has turned herself into the big victim. Once she saw all the fraud, she could have gotten out but she didn't, she helped him, and now she is blaming Sam for everything. If she had any morals she would have left and became a whistleblower, but she didn't, she helped him and is just as guilty.

Why do all major news orgs refer to her as his 'ex-girlfriend' instead of 'The bonafide math genius and CEO of the company that willingly took in the stolen money'?
In my opinion, that's the twisted tragedy of this situation. She was only in charge, not because of her qualifications or intelligence which are apparently quite impressive, but because he thought she was hot. SBF is a madman.

Innocent people use burner accounts all the time, so that malicious hackers don't get their bank credentials, email and social media account logins, avoid identity theft, etc. You don't have to be a crook to have some use for privacy tech in todays world where digital thieves are trying to steal everything from everyone.

At the end of the day, they sent a financial condition statement to SBF, and he forwarded the statement as is, to would be investors. Looks like they used him like a shield, for when they got caught.
