¿Loco, no te sobra una moneda?: BAJO.FRANCO.CUERDA
I never understood why Andy Rourke has never been put in the same line with Marr, his bass skills and composing manners are equally as great
true, especially on this one, i love it, totally fits
From what I know, most bass lines where also composed by Johnny Marr.
So that would be a good reason not to put him in the same line with Marr.
@@jurgenkulik4329 where did you get that info ? for me, this is not true, at least according to the very words of andy Rourke himself in the documentary called "Inside the Smiths", i watched it last week, did not learn much except that point that we're discussing. This doc is different from others aobut the band it lets 2 of its usually silent members explain their own stories (Joyce & Rourke)
Andy wrote the bass lines, not Johnny
@@jurgenkulik4329 This has been disproven by BOTH Marr and Rourke.
I love how every instrument has its own melody
One of my favorit smiths songs
I think this song really captures the magic of the smiths, all four of them just working together. And you’re right, even the drums are melodic in this one.
Thais song is awesome. One of my favorites ever
i was listening to this song and the bass is SOOO pretyy genuinely makes the song
I'm currently obsessed with it
@@vickjr98 me too
yea isnt more dynamic bass so great
Just a great song all around
Someone once said that the job of the bass is to make everyone else in the band sound better. This is great example of that. Rourke was a wizard.
Bassists are the unsung heroes of the musical world.
-from a guitarist
P.S. don’t let the bassists know I said that. I don’t want them getting big heads.
What an absolutely insane bass composition ….. this comes from somewhere else. Somewhere otherworldly.
I can't imagine anybody else working with Marr's guitar and composition and offering such a melodic and fit contraposition. Andy Rourke really was an incredible bassist and the perfect fit for the smiths. Just lovely
Your light will never go out Andy. RIP xxx
The sliding part goes: Doooooo duu daada..dooooo duuuh dada
Ok thanks that’s what I was wondering
@@Beaner.. LoL sure kind of like music notation ...only different
solfeggiomaster
Absolutely, YES
Thank you . Now I’m good 🙂
i was listening to this song while falling asleep and bro the bass just stuck out so much more in a quite environment and whenever i listen to the song i listen to the bass specifically and i loved it before but it’s so gooood
Very well played Franco, I grew up listening to the Smiths in the early 80s , I’ve always thought Andy Rourke was an underrated Bass player, IMO he is one of the best bassists from that period, it’s great to see people playing these Basslines 🔥🔥🔥🔥👌🏽🏴
honestly, this just came up in my feed and it’s pretty good. keep up the good work man 👍
Great fun bass line to play, well played❤️

Che linea di basso, che canzone!
RIP Andy 😢
Nice
muito bom
genial merci🙏
Buen laburo
Not gonna lie, I love bass and have heard some really sick bass lines, I love Flea, Dirk Lance from Incubus, and this line honestly might be my favorite.
So awesome!
Could you please do I Started Something I Couldn't Finish??
Gracias por la partitura C:
De nada!
How you beat the copyright monitor is the most impressive part! 🖤 jk; great song
RIP Andy 😢😢😢
😍
Given how good the band were giving 10% each to Rourke and Joyce was highway robbery. I don't care what anyone says. The Smiths were perfect because of the 4 of them. Not just Moz and Marr.

I was the 100,000th view
Thanks!!! :)
You knew bass and guitar smiths were tuned up a whole step (2 frets) up (or capo 2 frets) right?
I did know that, but I'm too lazy so I played it in standard tuning
@Zachary LeSauvage it’s easier with the tuning, but it’s whatever ig
@Zachary LeSauvage I definitely think it's harder to play using open strings like you would in the F# tuning.
spots like this do illustrate rather well how innovative Rourke actually was.
also hit me up for a smiths session if you're in montreal canada :)
I would love that but I'm from Argentina
