-Hello everyone and welcome to my channel! This channel is about my life as a farmer, and I hope you take the time to watch all my videos! I am a third generation dairy /crop farmer who loves what I do and want to share it with you! We farm in Michigan where we grow hay, corn, soybeans, and wheat, while milking almost 200 cows twice a day. So enjoy the videos and feel free to like, comment, and share my videos!

I've been running on the kind of fuel you described for 77 years. And, I learned from an early age starting on a NH dairy farm and later fending for myself making it happen doing things most people figured unlikely. If you have the desire to learn and the will to act, things will come your way. ~~~~ But, it's difficult to impart your wisdom to younger generations, because gaining wisdom comes from experience, and you have to live it to get it, i.e. wisdom.

Loved your message and story. I went into the Marines at 18. People told me I’d never make it through boot camp. I did it. Like you I was with great people for my stint. And used what I learned to do things in my life that others said I couldn’t including going to school at 40 and becoming an ICU RN. You speak the truth and I hope others listen.
As far as You Tube and I’ve said this to others, things you do may be simple and boring but many of us are seeing it for the first time. Never be afraid to show stuff on the farm.

Hey Kip,Love your channel.I noticed on a couple of vidios that when a cow freshens ,you dont give her anything to help her clean. We sold our cows 20 years ago so maybe there are new ways of doing things. We gave the cows warm water( as much as they want.Sometimes 5-6 5 gal pails} . They are thirsty after all that work, but it flushes them out,99% of the time. Keep the vidios coming.

Well the motivation speech worked on the cows, they are laying backwards in the free stalls, so they can get the best end of them on the camera for Utube. Good job you all.
We have a cow that kneels down in the front when she's milked, it's crazy how good it feels to them to be milked, the cows love it

I know what you were saying about motivation and education. I too learned that in the Army at OCS in 1970. After returning to the world from Nam in 1972 I became an OJT officer at Fort Riley KS to finish out my enlistment.

Kip, it was nice how you talk about the Us Army making you a better man! Myself being rise on a dairy farm and also going to the Army write after High school. I believe in a little criticism, I think it motivates most people with any ambition, if they're lazy and have no goal in life, they just take it as an insult and get angry.
That got me thinking this time 14 years ago I was at AIT. I know after time in the service and my knee issues from said time I get told oh you can't do that. I might be a little slower at it but I'm not crippled yet. Thank you for your service

Kip, thanks for the start of your video and the problems in life. I went through that in My years working On the Canadian Railway. I just carried on did my job never had a problem
from management only the people that I worked with. I retired after 31 years and still enjoying life at 80. Enjoy your videos and thanks to you and all the hard working farmers.

Love it Kip. Grandfather use to milk I was the only one other than him how to clean the tank. Dad quit farming and so did Grandfather. I always wanted to 6 years ago I started farming again. A few weeks ago I started helping milk again. Always enjoyed your videos

Kip, I applaud your tenacity I am a retired army warrant officer. My 21 years in service has taught me A lot about myself. I Have built upon those skills and M now happier than ever with my life even though I have screwed up a time or 2. Keep grinding man you're videos are great
