I was a born in JW and to this day it irtates me when the JWs say "the truth". How can they own the truth? Second, anytime anybody tries to follow Jude 3:3 and contend for the faith JWs get upset and will walk away and tell you are going to die in armageddon . If the JWs had the truth they shoud be willing to discuss the bible and not Watchtower doctrine. I had a family member try talk me into coming back and they sent me some articles, and with the help of Holy Spirit I was able to debunk every artitle with scriptures , but in the end the family member told me "It's a wonderful organization". My family member is looking for salvation from a organization instead of Jesus.
"The Truth". I had a very sweet friend who was so abused by this corrupt group. Yet she kept saying, "When I was in THE TRUTH...." I would stop her and say, "If that hurtful, abusive organization is THE TRUTH, why are you not still in it?" Eventually she got the point. She was a pioneer and one of the many victims of domestic violence by her MS husband, and molestation by a highly respect elder (without 2 witnesses). She could not report it to the authorities without punishment by the "Truth" elder squad. So the State threatened to take away her children. I found her dead one day on the floor. She is finally at rest.

I heard that morning worship talk and when they said “the governing body can be likened to the voice of Christ” I instantly knew just how far they’ve strayed from “the truth”. The irony….I’ve been putting together a letter, identifying the many dozens and dozens of misquotes, false claims and outright lies regarding the dating of history in the watchtower, the insight books, and various other JW publications. My reason for doing this is obvious. TRUTH MATTERS. We should not approach the Bible with our theory’s already in mind, then bend the scriptures to meet that end. I’ve put together a thoughtful and respectful letter showing just how accurate the Bible and recorded history are. I’ve proven there simply isn’t any way the Egyptians, Babylonians, Medes, Assyrians and the Israelites mentioned in the Bible, could all align perfectly with the recorded dates for the events listed in the Bible, then claim all of those are wrong by exactly 20 years. How could the reign of all of the kings, all the wars, births, deaths, solar eclipses, lunar eclipses, astronomical observations, planetary positions, business loans, tax records; in fact 30,000 plus documents, written in stone, found in the library of Nineveh, from the exact time period in question, how could they all be off by 20 years, allowing all the historians and scholars throughout all of recorded history it misquote these things, yet WT has the correct dates? And furthermore, what proof is being used to arrive at the WTs changed dates? Because they said so? I’m sorry but Jesus can not lie. Jehovah can not lie. They can not claim to be the voice of Jesus while blatantly rewriting history in the Bible, in order to support an already proven false claim that the end would come in 1914. Think about this. They claim 1914 PROVES something “significant” happened that year because of WW1 starting in 1914. They claim something everyone can see and saw, is proof something invisible happened that only a small group (anointed jws) could see…Because they said so, years after their actual claim the end would come in 1914 didn’t come true. They claim Jesus picked them in 1919, after being here invisibly since 1914, only in 1919 and for over a decade past 1919, they taught that Jesus came back invisibly in 1874. So how could they claim to see something they didn’t realize they saw for another 12 years, while also thinking they saw that exact same thing already in 1874? New light? Lol
Jesus never got it wrong. Never needed a "new light" excuse. Never put forth false prophecy. And NEVER said to add to his teachings. Where in the bible does it say that Jesus would need a mouthpiece?? If only our families could see the fallacies and manipulation.

I was by that time a PIMO and had been since @ 1999, I just had to shake my head at the blatant creature worship. Eric,thank you for your videos,they helped me in my awaking from this cult as a born in for 34 years,after looking into several non denominational churchs then Lutherans,I settled on the oldest church of the all and became a baptized Catholic, it was funny, I had to be baptized because the Catholic Church dose not recognize JW baptisms! Others who had previously been Lutherans,Methodist etc...didn't need to this since they were baptized in the formula laid out by Jesus,just goes to show you how much of a cult they really are! This really is no surprise Eric, after all this is the only way that they could get anyone to believe in their doctrine by convincing ones to except them to be the voice of Jesus Christ. They follow the lead of the Catholic Church which does the same thing by proclaiming the Pope to be the Vicar of Christ and of course they produce the same fruit, spiritual blindness. I see it in my own family who won’t even question some of the nonsense they produce. Thanks for your work with this videos, when I watch this nonsense about the GB being Jesus's voice I remembered file and rank JWs worship their Warwick's idols (I worshiped them before too but no more) they say they do not worship them only worship Jah, but they trust absolutely in this goverment body in sould and body trusting to them their very own lifes believing every word they say beyond any scrutiny or reasonable doubt even when its predictions fails or teachings suddenly changes or affects them negativelly... isn't that the very definition of worship itself? they go preaching that people must pust their faith and religion under strict biblical examination and to do not put blind faith in any word of any religious leader, but when they are asked to do the same with their own religion they do exactly the contrary, hypocrytes they are!!!
Basically they have become like the pope in the cathoolic church. I hope that their congregations open their eyes and follow only God through Jesus because Jesus is the only and true way. Good work Eric. Listening to the song in the video reminded me of when I was in about my favourite song Christ Our Exemplar. Lovely song and lyric in my view. But they changed the lyrics, not for the better, and the recorded version that you can find on RUclips has a sanctimonious and shrill female choir which is extremely painful to listen to. Do you know who wrote the original and whether they were hurt by the changes?

I think we must worship alone if necessary, Jesus said where two or three are gathered there I am also. Be under prayer when you worship, the Holy Spirit and Jesus will be with you. Look for like minded believers not necessarily a church.
We have kingdom halls all over the world. Depending on which state you live and city you can Google "*kingdom Hall of JW" in that city you live and call them on the phone and ask for time and directions and they will be happy to assist you free of charge. If you want to talk to them one on one they will be happy to come to your home free of charge and if you are not interested they will leave and never bother you.

What should be of more concern is the RUclips fascination with Jehovah's Witnesses. When everyone is entitled to decide what they believe. I remember a constitution and Bill of Rights that protects a persons right to believe what they want. So what gives RUclips personality?

I was by that time a PIMO and had been since @ 1999, I just had to shake my head at the blatant creature worship. It has just gotten progressively worse, they have truly become a "...man of lawlessness..." Eric,thank you for your videos,they helped me in my awaking from this cult as a born in for 34 years,after looking into several non denominational churchs then Lutherans,I settled on the oldest church of the all and became a baptized Catholic, it was funny, I had to be baptized because the Catholic Church dose not recognize JW baptisms! Others who had previously been Lutherans,Methodist etc...didn't need to this since they were baptized in the formula laid out by Jesus,just goes to show you how much of a cult they really are! This really is no surprise Eric, after all this is the only way that they could get anyone to believe in their doctrine by convincing ones to except them to be the voice of Jesus Christ. They follow the lead of the Catholic Church which does the same thing by proclaiming the Pope to be the Vicar of Christ and of course they produce the same fruit, spiritual blindness. I see it in my own family who won’t even question some of the nonsense they produce. I think we must worship alone if necessary, Jesus said where two or three are gathered there I am also. Be under prayer when you worship, the Holy Spirit and Jesus will be with you. Look for like minded believers not necessarily a church.

Depending on which state you live and city you can Google "*kingdom Hall of JW" in that city you live and call them on the phone and ask for time and directions and they will be happy to assist you free of charge.
