  • @Big.steppa.reese0
    @Big.steppa.reese0 3 месяца назад +1

    Here’s why the Keenan Allen move is an A:
    1. His game doesn’t rely on athleticism , he literally had 1200 yards and 7tds.
    2. The injury prone stuff is overstated. He played 13 games last year, 10, the year before that, and 16 the year before that.
    3. We have an incoming rookie QB, anything to help his development is a plus and if you refute that you’re lost.
    4. We can always give him a 1 or 2 year extension.
    This is a low risk high reward trade that will help out our QB tremendously

    • @robe2504
      @robe2504 3 месяца назад

      @@wesleyblanton2432 Objective judges found that the trade value favoured the Vikes using 3 of the 4 generally accepted trade value charts - so there was nothing egregious about the trade itself.
      There was no QB involved either so that premium didn't apply either.
      Of all the players involved Ingram has probably been the most successful - and played more snaps than the rest of them put together, and graded just as highly - Jameson, Josh Paschal and Christian Watson.
      If we're all willing to give Jameson and Watson a pass for the injury hiccups that have interrupted their development, then perhaps we should give Booth, Cine & Asamoah the same leeway - particularly Cine whose injury resulted from a nasty collision.
      Flores has now handpicked his speed based defence, and Booth and Cine have now had a season to build their confidence, so it's not unreasonable to think that they might make some progress this season.
      Skol!

    Seahawks fan here and I’ve liked Howell for a minute but I have a few issues. I think with a good team he’ll be good and our offense is good but our line has questions with our defense bring alright. Another issue I have is I think he would’ve been released because Commanders definitely wouldn’t have kept 3 qbs so idk this is a decent overpay imo. My last point is the cap, we released a bunch of veterans and I think we made good cuts but people expected us to spend like crazy which we all shouldn’t have because it’s John Schneider but I do expect a couple of big extensions or contracts given out soon just give it time it’s a new regime.

    Texans, move back in a draft that falls off after pick 10-40… the value just isn’t there for their needs. At 42 they save about 6 million on the difference of the picks. They want Fiske or Sweet. Newton or Murphy don’t fit Ryans scheme. They had no 5th or 6th rounder, making a 110 pick gap, from the 4th round to the late 7th… They now added an additional 2nd next year so if a trade comes up this year or next, they still have the capital to maneuver, and not mortgage the future.
    Ultimately, everyone said the same about last years draft day trade when they gave up their 1st instead of Cleveland’s… worked out pretty good.

On the other hand I would’ve liked to hold onto him because Matt Canada was a horrible OC and play caller (situational speaking and scheme wise) and maybe Pickett could’ve developed in the new system/scheme. But the pick swap from the 4th into the 3rd is something positive.

    The Panthers offered Frankie Luvu more money than what the Commanders sign him for. Luvu wanted to play in that scheme to be used as a poor mans Micah Parsons.

    Arizona traded away a player who more than likely was not going to make the roster this year anyway, LMAO, and gained their back up quarterback. Rondell has been nothing but disappointing as a cardinal and needed a change of scenery.

    would guess the texans think the vikes are going to be very bad next year and that is probably realistic with sam darnold as their qb

    • @robe2504
      @robe2504 3 месяца назад

      Just consider that last year they only bottomed out to 7 wins with Dobbs and Mullens, and even then they were pretty unlucky not to win 10. That might be a bit of a misjudgement by the Texans. What if the Vikes are working a trade with the Chargers for Justin Herbert?

    • @thomasmulligan750
      @thomasmulligan750 3 месяца назад

      @@robe2504 im not saying they will be awful but the team definitely got worse losing hunter the secondary is shit and they dont have a left guard yet. its just a bet by the texans that they will be bad which is highly possible. also justin herbert is certainly not for sale lmao.

    • @robe2504
      @robe2504 3 месяца назад

      @@thomasmulligan750 I'm not sure that they did get worse. They lost Hunter, Wonnum & Hicks but gained Greenard, Van Ginkel and Cashman who all performed at a higher level last season.
      Yes Risner has not be re-signed or replaced yet but he was the worst graded guy on their O Line.
      The secondary is young on a learning curve but all of them made progress last season.
      Sure, Justin Herbert is not for sale, but neither were Mike Williams or Keenan Allen and Ekeler is also gone - which is basically the whole existing offence except Herbert.
      The new coach could get his college championship winning QB at pick 5, clear a bunch of cap space and get a big head start on reshaping the team if he did want to trade Herbert, so who really knows...

    The Panthers offered Burns a good deal, but he wanted more and he wasn't going to be happy. To grade this in the D area is unfair because keeping him at the money he wanted would have crippled their chances at other free agents. No Panther fan wanted to see him go, but they understood why. Plus with the new coaching staff they wanted to bring in their choices. A dollar says the Panthers get more than 2 wins next season.

    I’m a panthers fan and I’d give the Steelers an F honestly for trading for a mid cornerback in Donte Jackson who was on the verge of being CUT, being consistently inconsistent, and coming off a torn Achilles.

    The Bears are trading #1 and probably #9 for picks...and if Allen leaves after this season Bears will likely get a comp pick probably a 4th. so I see the logic for Poles.
