- Dismissive people... I understand what it's like to be one 😬
When I was younger, I rarely felt seen or heard in school or amongst friends and so when I got the opportunity to speak - oh I spoke, but I'm lucky I had people who loved me call me out and help me heal that part of myself.
If you're in conversation with someone like this who you really care about, I encourage you to try these 3 steps. Not only will you be able to communicate your thoughts, you'll also create the rules of engagement the next time you speak with them.

As “That guy” (tryna work my way out of it) the first two points are really important. I try to impose myself if i think i’m ignored but once im talking, im scared of silence so I go on until someone tries to pick up after me… good vid as always
