Tell me you've heard a better guitar sound, and I'll ask where? Tell me you've heard a better opening, I'd ask where? Tell me of a more underrated singer songwriter, and I'll tell you there ain't. 5K hits, just sad :< thx for the music Matt
SteelieSazoo part of why i love his music... heaven forbid he was ever became pop music, and played on every douchebag radio station across the country, with a bunch of bandwagon fans.... long live rock and roll.... and absolutely agree.. one of the best opening riffs... in a close tie might be Looking for a place to happen by the Hip
Don Smith was a big influence on Matt's sound imo. Smith has worked extensively with Petty. Opening of this track has a lot of Neil Young in it as well.
Just saw him in Buffalo where I live, there was about 150 people in a small club, Matt and his band put on a great show!! What a treat to see him live, thanks Matt!!
Came here from samurai guitarist and i gotta say i love this one, as someone who just recently migrated here to canada, i’m keeping this one close to my heart
This song reminds me of so may great bands from the sixties through to today. But here is all the best of each rolled into one BIG sound! Makes want to make big, full body movements and sing along - but I don't know the words yet. Can't wait to hear the next song.

This track starts off my drive back home from camp every time. Volume up as loud as my shitty speakers can take.
