I know that super energy wave volley seems generic, but Vegeta in DBZ became so good at it that he made it signature, and he did it more than most characters. It's in every single form because it actually suits him.
I actually like all Buu Saga Vegetas having Full Power Energy Blast Volley. It's a technique more emblematic of Vegeta than even his signature moves. And they cost only two ki bars to boot, which emphasizes that even better.
The only ultimate attack out of all Vegeta's form. Scouter Vegeta's ultimate attack speeches. "Don't bother!" "I'll break you!" "Simple tricks." Kinda makes me laugh when he says them.
This may be kind of an insignificant comment, but I've always loved the "Full Power" move that instantly powers up your character instead of having to power up slowly to reach it. The aura and sound effect is terrific.
Again I say, watch the anime. Explosive Wave and Valley Ball blasts are Vegeta's specialty!!!!! He's not Vegeta if he don't use one of these attacks or do something that could show his opponents his power!!!!!
I think it would've been awesome if they made Vegeta Armour's base have more moves from Namek that the Scouter form didn't have. For example, make his rush what he used to kill Jeice and his ultimate the final attack he did against Freiza. It wouldn't make perfect sense, but they did a similar time-travel with SSJ Goku End, him being from the Cell fight and the rest of his moveset being from the Buu Saga.
Due to his wide variety of movesets and evolution as a character, there should be an extra Vegeta, so these would be his following forms: Vegeta (Saiyan Saga), Vegeta (Namek Saga), Vegeta (Late).
"Why is the Final Shine blue?" Ask that same question for Raging Blast 2, because Super Saiyan 2 and 3 Vegeta have a blue Final Flash, while 2nd grade Super Saiyan Vegeta has a yellow Final Flash.
I think it's because of their ki levels. Like Vegeta's Galick Gun in the Saiyan Saga. It's purple, right? Then why is it still purple if Vegeta fires yellow ki blasts and has a finishing move called Big Bang Attack, which is blue?
He should be made like Goku was: Early: The Vegeta from the Saiyan saga, that can transform into a Oozaru. Mid: The Vegeta from the Namek/Freeza saga. He showed such a huge amount of new moves in that timeline and was so different from the saiyan saga, it was definnely worthy of another character. And End Vegeta to cover him from the Android to the Buu saga. Creating another form for the Buu saga was pointless since all his transformations had almost the same stock attacks.
Maybe the reason SSJ4 Vegeta and SSJ Vegeta are so similar in terms of there moveset is that to achieve SSJ4, you have to become the Oozaru, and then go SSJ while in it, with the ending result being SSJ4
One move from the anime I swear I have never seen in a game is the execution move he did to kill Jeice. Karate chops the side of the torso followed by a blue full power point blank range blast. Very cool move.
Always loved Super Vegeta's grab attack. Hell, I just love Super Vegeta. He's my favorite to play as, even though in the series the form isn't that great.
Wait, Vegeta with the scouter, that ultimate attack, "Dirty Fireworks", He didn't use that attack on Zarbon, He did it on Cui, I'm pretty sure, am I right?
Majin Vegeta as a total was my favorite. Not for uniqueness, but for their quick and eassssyyyy use. His super could be better mostly due to it's suicidal tendency, but it's good for story reason.
This was a great video, really love how you go in depth with each specific attack, I personally don't mine vegeta having the energy volley attack, because out of all the characters in the series, he's seen using this attack the most and constantly to the point where you can say it's his signature move, it makes him feel more like his anime counterpart, plus it fits well with his relentless fighting style, I also like to point out the reason why vegeta has a final flash as a regular move in one of his forms and a special in another, the reason for this is because the regular final flash is the one he did against the cell junior, and his second fight with goku during the buu, and his special final flash is the one he puts all his energy into it, to the point where it's destruction level is planetary and beyond, like the one he did against cell. PS for some reason I like his amazing impact rush in 2 better than 3.
Nah, he don't need that many volley's. One form is enough (in like BT3 with all fixed movesets). At least, in RB, you can replace it. Also, repeated attacks can get boring to me, so if you're make a weaker final flash... Do it, but make the ultimate significantly different. Like name, cinematics, color, etc.
These videos are making me feel like playing BT3 again. Well, it's interesting to see your viewpoints on the movesets anyway...I've noticed some things I never noticed before.
Big Bang Attack is one of Vegeta's signature moves in the anime or so they say, and is natural for him to have it. Same with Goku, Gohan, and Goten with the Kamehameha
I know this is like a 10 year old video but I just realized something. Cell Saga's SSJ Vegeta has the same hair model as the Buu Saga's SSJ Vegeta, which is weird since Cell Saga's SSJ Vegeta's hair should be mostly be like Namek Saga's SSJ Goku, brighter yellow and should be a bit more plain rather than having more detailed hair.
Buu Vegeta was always my favorite character. I'm not sure why though, probably because Vegeta is my fav DBZ character and the Buu Saga is my favorite Saga.
I so agree with you, and on further note, most sayains are rarely seen fighting in their base forms, so it make sense for why they gave them the moves they have. The only ones who may have moves in their base forms are Goku, Vegeta, and maybe Gohan as a kid. But never forget the forms they fight in the most. I should added this to my comments.
They nerfed spirit breaking cannon😢 in tenkaichi 2 it was more brutal he did the knee dive then tossed them like trash. It’s underwhelming in this game
I'm very interested in these. You give very insightful descriptions on why the moves are good and bad. I would love to see how you would do the movesets. You seem to have a lot of great ideas in terms of movesets. Maybe someday you could make a video series about how the movesets could be changed for the better.
I've noticed that Super Vegeta and SS4 Vegeta's rushes have been cut short from the previous game BT2. You see how the throw that they share was part of the rush in Budokai Tenkiachi 2.
I liked Super Vegeta's rush back in BT2. There was more arrogance and bashing around, while here, he just lets them drop. Back in BT2, he kneed them on the ground, and tossed them away.
Yannkam 212 you have a good point, i understand that they used them in the anima/manga series, but the devs should have gave some of them unique blast 2's Also High Speed Rush is overused
stock in his case means since the creators of this game came lazy with the moves they give a characters, So they give them a move a lot of characters have (energy volley) or a move a lot of forms of the character have when they dont really need the move in Vegetas case, Big Bang Attack
Why didnt they make base vegeta the one who foughy against frieza and give it these moves explosive wave full power final flash (blue, he used it against recoome) amazing impact(used it on Goku-Ginyu) Full power galick gun?(I dont know, he used it on frieza)
Base Vegeta (end) should have his super be, "I Am Prince Vegeta!" where he rushes the opponent, disappears, and reappears in front of them with his hands on their chest, and blasts them (the way he killed Pui). SSJ Vegeta (End) should have a super called "Prince's Barrage," where he shoots blasts that surround the opponent and then converge, like Piccolo's Hellzone Grenade. He used this against Buuhan. And he should have a Rush called "Fire!!" where Goku shows up and they fire together (like when they fought inside Buu's body). And SSJ Goku (End) can have a similar rush. Also, SSJ2 Vegeta (End) should have a super called "Final Bang," where he fires a Big Bang and while the opponent is holding onto it, he shoots a Final Flash onto the entire thing.
It's always disappointing when Vegeta gets stuck with stock attacks. One of the reasons I like him so much is because he has arguably the most diverse moveset in the entire series.
top vegeta moves:dirty fireworks, big bang attack, final flash, final explosion(even though it kills u still its kinda awsome),and last but not least the most awsome move that vegeta has....FINAL SHINE...ATTAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Great moveset video once again, I agree with most of your points. Something I wondered--in GT, Vegeta used the Final Shine Attack in only his regular SSJ form. So why is it a running trend in video games for SSJ4 Vegeta to have the move?
The Final Explosion Majin Vegeta uses isn't an explosive wave. It's Vegeta literally blowing himself up. Why do you think in the anime he was killed by that move?
Tristan O'Meara It's a variant of the explosive wave, but instead of using up just his ki, he literally used his own life force in a gigantic explosion, which apparently works similarly to an explosive wave, just far more deadly and costly.
Big bang attack in his ssj form should be more unique like when he first did it in the show. He powers up, slowly rise his hand and say "time has run out for you". Something like that could work I guess because later this attack gets boring. And I also think Vegeta first form should have galick gun as an ultimate and it should be bigger, more effective like in the show when he fought goku.
Now that you put it that way, it kinda does seem a little better... Although, I kinda wanted something like a mini-version of Great Ape Vegeta's throw. Majin Vegeta just seems to be the "ultra powerful one-hit fighter", so a "super punch" would've really fit him, in my opinion. Or maybe the ki barrage that Baby Vegeta has, that's cool. Maybe it's just because I've already seen Vegeta (Scouter) with the same throw, so I might just be putting it down in my head. That said, thanks for the reply.
why does vegeta have final flash as a b2 in ssj end but in ssj2 its his ultimate thats as stuiped as ssj2 goku having super kamehameha when mid and end ssj have it as a b2
Because Vegeta(second form) was the same fighter in GT and Goku did most of the fighting, meaning Vegeta didn't have much screen time to show off any skills other than his Final Shine Attack.
did any one else notice that the final shine for a split second is green when he charges it then it turns blue i mean if it starts green (the proper color) then keep it green i hope they get it right in raging blast 2 (if hes in it)
I think his final shine was blue in his super saiyan 4 state in GT and green against super 17, it did look sort of blue when he fired it at Omega, but the dub referred to it as "final flash".

Big Bang Attack is one of Vegeta's signature moves in the anime or so they say, and is natural for him to have it. Same with Goku, Gohan, and Goten with the Kamehameha
I think they should have tied Vegeta's fights with the Ginyu Force and Frieza with his attacks to Vegeta's base form for his mid character.
I think the rest of BT2's Spirit Breaking Cannon was what he did to Recoome. Dropping him on the ground and then throwing him away.
Vegeta scouter should’ve had amazing impact because he used that move against Ginyu Goku in Namek.

I liked how in BT3 they changed the explosive wave from the previous game into an ACTUAL WAVE instead of a prolonged shield.
I've noticed that Super Vegeta and SS4 Vegeta's rushes have been cut short from the previous game BT2. You see how the throw that they share was part of the rush in Budokai Tenkiachi 2.
I’m glad to discover the most replayed part of this vid,is the “The saiyans are a true warrior race” part.
The reason why they split up Cell Saga Vegeta and the Buu Saga version is because Cell Saga Vegeta has ASSJ and Buu Saga Vegeta has SSJ2.
And his Blast 1s are awesome. His first one allows him to charge his gauge faster and his second one puts him at max power.
I liked Super Vegeta's rush back in BT2. There was more arrogance and bashing around, while here, he just lets them drop. Back in BT2, he kneed them on the ground, and tossed them away.
Vegeta's one of best attacks is super energy wave volley i don't know why you all dissagree with it
Teorike Shansa In the games, it's not unique.
Most characters have energy wave volley and super explosive wave as blast 2, so they're stock moves and overused
Yannkam 212 you have a good point, i understand that they used them in the anima/manga series, but the devs should have gave some of them unique blast 2's

stock in his case means since the creators of this game came lazy with the moves they give a characters, So they give them a move a lot of characters have (energy volley) or a move a lot of forms of the character have when they dont really need the move in Vegetas case, Big Bang Attack
Super Saiyan Vegeta's rush attack was used in DBZ when he attacked Ginyu while in Goku's body, this should have been on his Scouter form.

BUU SS - Super Galick Gun (Gold), (Advanced) Brave Punisher, and (A) Galaxy Breaker
BUU SS2 - Final Flash (Green), (A) Infinite Break, and Galick Blazer
MAJIN - Switch Big Bang Attack with Demonic Rush
Double Galik Cannon was used on Pui-Pui, not Dodoria

Great moveset video once again, I agree with most of your points. Something I wondered--in GT, Vegeta used the Final Shine Attack in only his regular SSJ form. So why is it a running trend in video games for SSJ4 Vegeta to have the move?
Because in most games the only trace of GT Vegeta we get is SS4.
Buu vegeta...i was amazingly disapointed pui pui... Double galik cannon... Most awesome attack ever.

if ur planning on clashing with his final shine attack better be quick its kinda hard trying to clash with that 1 cause its too fast launching
You can't say anything about the Valley Ball attacks and Super Explosives Waves of Vegeta since he naturally use them in the anime
2:04 Vegeta:BEGONE!!!! -Cell doesnt move- Vegeta: NOWWWW!!!!!
Frieza,Cell and Majin Buu's movesets in there different forms would be good mate
If you don't mind of course
Super Vegetas Spirit Breaking Cannon.. nuff said✌🏽
Tenkaichi 2 did it better
They should have had vegeta have a better great ape form since it was important
