WOW well i am very very new . I am just waiting till the 16th this month its Birthday. this week i will get my Mandolin. is there any chance you could do a real close up clip of the pick picking on the string. not many artists show this to detail.
Any tips on how I can lower my action? It’s extremely high and when I try and turn the cranks on the bridge it doesn’t lower it or anything😕 I would love to start playing but it’s hard when the strings are almost half an inch above the fretboard
You may have a bent neck. There is a good chance you also have a truss rod running down your neck that you can make micro adjustments to as well. There are some good videos. This one is pretty decent, the last section talks about adjusting the truss rod.

@@yermomsbanjo9691 I got it figured out. It’s just so old that the bridge was just stuck so any adjustments to it weren’t being adjusted. I ended up taking it all apart and fixing the problem. Thank you for the tips though as well. I will look into it if I have any more problems. Thank you🙏
