It is very frustrating!!! I cant stand the inflammation. My doctor prescribed Cleocin inserts, that didn't work, then Metronizadole..that didn't work either. I am now taking the AZO probiotic tablets and trying to eat a bit of yogurt daily, not sure if that is helping either!!! It is very frustrating.

Hi doc. I recently got BV and was sick of it as it was recurring. Until i remember that I was using anion pads back then whenever I have yeast infection or UTI. I totally forgot about it coz I didn't got any infection for the longest time not until recently. Then i bought panty liners from the previous company where i used to got them, then all the magic happens in less than 24hrs. The pack comes with test kits for vaginal ph level. Before using them i was at 7.5 level, after 8hrs i changed my liners then got a slightly brown spot and still fishy odor. After the 2nd pad, i noticed the itch and fishy odor was gone. Then i did another ph test it marks down to 6.0 level. I got so happy. Then i tried swabbing my vage to see the color of my discharges, it turns white from bloody red yesterday. The odor was still their but not as bad as it was yesterday. Those happened within 16hrs period of time. I hope you will notice my comment.

I’ve suffered with chronic bv for 31 yrs and have been to the drs countless times for antibiotics for bv and yeast the infection creates a biofilm that antibiotics cannot penetrate through hence why reoccurrence bv comes back iam 43 and had a total hysterectomy last yr and still get bv I have tried baking soda peroxide acv none of that worked what I did try was boric acid suppositories until the infection went away and also started taking probiotics so far it has been working the drs won’t tell you this because they want to keep pushing antibiotics knowing that they wipe away the good and bad bacteria then cause a yeast infection and then you would have to take diflucan I also drink warm lemon water every day on a empty stomach what works for me might not work for others JMO
