Would love to see you do a video on how you as a general education teacher differentiated your classroom to meet the needs of your special education students.
Another great video of useful information. I have been using your substitute binder for two school years now and whenever I’m absent, the substitute is so thankful for the information left behind. Thank you for all that you continue to do and share with us.
This was sooooo helpful. I love the 31 hanging folders for each day of the month, and 12 for the months of the year. I will apply it in my classroom. Thank you so much!
Organization videos are my favorite! I like how you mentioned the pros and cons and explained the purposes of each bin. I know you and Bridget have advised in your podcast that teachers should not just go hogwild purchasing bins until you know the purpose of the bin and if it will even fit correctly in the space. The wrong bin can actually make your job frustrating as you struggle to put things away. I feel like classroom teachers have to be even more cognizant of this because we need containers that the students can consistently manage, too. Thanks for a super helpful video, as always!
Would love it if you could do a video about teachers who are at a crossroads and are considering leaving the classroom. Or a video discussing the wider issues of teacher retention
Thank you! These are super helpful! I'm finishing up my first year of teaching and i just can't get my papers and master copies under control. I love all your ideas!
Michelle, ❤ your video. I struggle with organizing/keeping track of absent student work in my second grade classroom. If I keep a file box with days of the month, and place work in it each day, what do you do to personally track what needs to be made up/completed per student each month?
I don’t know if this is up your alley, but I think it would be great if you can discuss ways teachers can side hustle/ careers teachers can thrive in out of the classroom. Teaching has become a source of anxiety and stress for a lot my colleges, including myself. Some teachers feel trapped in the classroom. Just an idea :)
It really helps to think ahead on how to keep things organized to make routines efficient and streamlined. As hard as we work as we work in education keeping organized is one thing we can do to make things easier. Thank you!
I will say the best thing that my student teaching mentor taught me was to skip the "to file" drawer. The second copies are finished, everything goes back in its place. That works best for me because I would end up with a whole years worth of papers in my file tray.
Michelle, what did you do with your numbers system as students came and went throughout the year? I have students constantly registering and withdrawing from school which would mess with a numbered student/folder system.
I need help organizing 12 x 18 construction paper. I have a long skinny drawer where I keep it, but it is impossible to keep it organized in there AND know what colors I have. Also, I absolutely cannot let students have access or it becomes a disaster. Help!
This was sooooo helpful!!! Thank you 😊 My dream is to be organized and I am…until we get to the second week of school!! Now I’m all over the place. I’m excited to try some of your tip.
This is great information! Are those IKEA trays big enough (wide enough) to hold pocket folders? I need another system to store one of my classes pocket folders! This would be great if they will fit!
I would love to see a video on your approach to classroom management and strategies you use. Admin and teachers are on a different page in terms of behavior management and it has ruined classroom management as students have no respect for us.
Question - Labeling sterilite drawers. How do you get the double stick tape to adhere to the drawers? The tape doesn’t stick and the labels just fall off. I’ve tried wiping the drawers with alcohol first and sometimes it works, but not always. HELP!
Hey Michelle - no idea whether you're gonna read my comment, but here we go! Thanks to you Im now working as a fulltime teacher. You inspired me to go into teaching a little over 4 years back when I was unsure about what to do with my life. So I got into college, found a teaching job and am per 1/3 working fulltime. I love all your organizing videos and your positive view on the profession - which is so refreshing when loads of teachers are burned out. So thank you. I have no idea what my life would have looked like now if I didnt randomly stumble across your video back in december 2017. :)
Great content! I’m so old school with the file boxes! I still have my first one that I used at my first apartment to store files! Binders are smart, but one problem is if you use them too much, the three rings may not clip together or start to break (reminds me of my middle school days)!
Thank you for making these organization videos. I will be a new teacher hopefully next year and I need all the help I can get! I am beyond overwhelmed about all the things I'll need to get for my classroom. I love your videos and emails. You are an amazing person 😊
+Pocketful of Primary Michelle , If I would have had the things that you have for organization growing up I would have avoided some trouble in my life when it came to keeping a clean bedroom . With that said , your color coded systems rule !! - Dwight

she’s not in the classroom anymore so this one might be hard for her.
Me too
@@planwithjericaWhere is she ?
@@stacyr4768 at home 🤷🏽♀️ she hasn’t been in the classroom in years.
@@planwithjerica She teaches other teachers now in teaching via workshops and conferences . Staying home doesn’t pay bills which we all have .
Exactly the video I need right now as my co-teacher and I begin trying to get classroom paperwork organized. Thanks for another great one Michelle.
I would love some tips on digital assignment organization for google drive. NOT GOOGLE CLASSROOM. Thanks.

Could we see a video of you explaining your sub binder and assessment binder?
Hi! Can you do a video on how to organize your Benchmarking data for reading a-z? What does your system look like?! Im desperate ty!!!

I've always been unorganized with papers😩 it's so embarrassing 🤭 I'm glad to find a community of unorganized papers group. Thanks for the video.
I think Big Lots has discontinued the tall upright bins. I'm super bummed, because those are my favorite :-(
Michelle, what did you do with your numbers system as students came and went throughout the year? I have students constantly registering and withdrawing from school which would mess with a numbered student/folder system.
My school only allowed one ream of paper per teacher for the entire year, so I’m definitely going to be using more digital resources this year 😅

I treasure your videos...keep them coming each year please.
How do you get the papers covers for the Sterilite drawers to stay without putting them on the outside?
I am interested in your substitute binder. Thank you!
Hi
Thank you for all the great products you shared!
Uh also Frist
This is great channel. Very cool.
Thank you. Great ideas.
Okay where is that shirt from I love
It’s always good to organize. Teachers always have a hard time with that.
