Mike and Tim, really enjoying your podcast each week. Question: I would assume that each new week opens the playbook a little wider for CJ. Would you say that the offense’s 5.4 avg. yards per reception and 2.6 avg. yards per rush is from continued growing pains for a new QB, overly conservative play calling, bad scheme, or some other cause for this mediocrity?
2 questions for legendary Mike: Can you give insight into what goes on in the QB prep in the week leading up to a game? Secondly, do you believe the talent at WR justifies the disproportionate amount of looks for KC? Thx
Maybe the concept of bringing in a bunch of portal guys doesnt work in the short term especially for a QB. It takes a while to learn a new system and gain chemistry with their skill players. I also wonder about the level of commitment for some of these grad transfers who know they wont be back next year regardless. Its an interesting conversation.

Don’t forget OSU legend Joe Burrow, the OG Buckeye QB breakout in the NFL 😂

I’ve come to accept that as long as Dave is here I’m not going to like how he wants his offense run.
