From what I understand, the incendiary (CT) is the only one with the reduced duration and size, while the molotov (T) has remained unchanged! Interested to hear your thoughts on that. I believe its also the first time theyre different in terms of mechanics since they were introduced in GO
Both have flame height drop off but otherwise yup.
Also very important is the chickens can go uphill now and turn right!
My thoughts on the vertigo changes are as follows.
Why the fuck did they remove overpass and replace it with D2?
Cause d2 is the iconic goat
Overpass was L map anyways would rather play d2

Way more CT sided after playing it last night.
Molotovs spread and duration has not been changed, only incendiary.
So its a benefit for a CT to pick up a molotov, the larger spread makes a big difference in banana on inferno for example.

When a character goes through a molo, their clothes catch on fire for a couple of seconds, did that animation exist before?
Thanks God, the two WC in Vertigo are still there.
My opinions about vertigo are mixed.
From a T standpoint: Rushing A ramp was relatively easy if the team worked together. It was doable, becasue of the CT rotaion time was enough to occupy the site (and you encountered 2, max 3 CT's). Now it's harder to hold the bmb after planting because CT's can come from too many points.
From a CT standpoint: Rotation from mid/B is easyer, you have more spots to hide. After T's are planting, you have more potential to get to the site (before, you were smoked off much easyer).
Conclusion: I think that Vertigo with these changes became more CT sided.
So now you can take even less damage from incendiary...

This is more ct site instead of t side, after update.
Remember the lesson in school "Read the instructions fully, then proceed doing the task" 😂 you clearly did not.
New A site looks great! Always felt like you moved the same path every time you got there.
Vert is extremely CT sided now imo, without coordination its impossible to win A site, and the fact you can watch short from CT/JUMPUP AREA makes it actually so ass, plus the timings to swing short are so bad now, CTs get there so much sooner now it's horrendous. Dark is a good change, but A site is nearly impossible to hold during retake, especially when you have to worry about two active angles (short side ely and OG ely) at the same time when going to and from site.
The chickens are my favorite update part ❤️
Overall really good update. People will probably be more comfortable playing vertigo now. Short area was boxed in way too much.

I like that they made vertigo bigger and less clastrophobic. I dont like that big doorway being able to see all the way into ct. Thats going to make retakes a little too difficult IMO. I guess time will tell.
Are you sure it's wider? to me it seems the same, and you're the first one to mention it from the videos i've seen.

Valve also fucked up Doppler Phase 2 and Marble fade skins. Marble fade looks really matt and ugly now. I’m really angry, because I have a Huntsman and a Flip Knife in Marble fade 😢
I hope they fix this ASAP
Maybe M4A4 should be 2900 as well,than we will see for sure wich one players prefer,and id probably make defuse kit dropable
They would need to increase the ammo reserves if they make it the same price. If they cost the same, and the m4 has 10 extra rounds, there would be no point to the 1s

This is the kind of update that should be reverted as soon as possible. In my last 5 years of counter strike, I have not seen a worse update.
Ey relax! That statement in the beginning is too far! I wouldn't classify myself as a noob, since Im level 8 on Faceit. I like playing Vertigo, but would play other maps if I could chose directly, I love maps such as Ancient and Anubis, but most of my friends really hate or dislike Anubis.
