- Within Procreate there is a Gaussian Blur feature that allows you to apply blurs to your images. The problem, however, is that the effect is applied globally to the entire layer. In this tutorial we'll be going over how you can use the Selection Tool to blur part of an image in Procreate.
Short and to the point. Thanks much
Thank you!! Just what I needed
Is it possible to blur just the background in some easy way? So that I don’t have to do like you did with all the parts in a picture where the background is shown (between arms/legs and so on). I thinking if it’s possible to mark an object to make it a new layer or something and then blur the whole background?
I use procreate pocket so I don’t know if I there’s some features I don’t have😅
But thanks for the tutorial🙌🏼
Thank you so much for this dude!
thank you!!
That saved me right now ! Thank you so much 😇
It sadly didn’t work for me :( idk if I did something wrong or it just works on phones? Cause I used it on my iPad cause I don’t have procreate on phone so if yk tell me something I might have done wrong! Edit: I tried it again today and it worked!
worked, commenting for the algorithm
Thank you!! But how do you unblur? For example, I deleted something on accident, but I had a screenshot, so when I added the screenshot it was pixelated and strange,
Undo button: am i a joke to you?

Why does it hate me 😆
I did exactly as you said and it did nothing. Do I need to do something with the layers?
Actually it made blurred stripes instead of blurring the image
You might be on motion blur. Make sure you’re using gaussian blur and you’re on the layer you want to blur 👍
thank you!!
