I tell you what lex, you have led one hell of a life. Mind you, it's not even over yet. Thank you for sharing your life and giving us the opportunity to learn along with you and your experiences. You truly have a good soul.
As an extreme outdoorsman I know the joys of finding a water source in the wilderness. From a trickling spring, to a raging river you can feel the life giving effects emanating from water. You set up camp next to it, drink it, bathe in it, grow food from it, take food from it and be an existing human because of it. 🌊 💦 🧬
That’s from the Men in Black collection, they offer a couple different options. This is a lightweight fabric and is cooling and Breathable and functional suit.they offer several different options due to your conditions
Parts of Lex recalling his time with Paul made me think of life itself. The journey & the struggle, the self realization, the moments of pure joy. The highs & lows we all experience on this rock together. If you listen to it like that it’s hard not to hear it.
That suffering changed you for the better though didn't it? This is what many don't seem to understand about suffering. As much as we may hate it, it is necessary sometimes.
Its fascinated me how...simple example...you can go out camping with a friend, get caught in a horrible storm, everything gets soaked, cant start a fire, cant get warm, get eaten up by bugs, only to get back to the truck after it all, and it wont start, leaving you stranded and having to hike back to town to get a new battery- still in crummy weather...And be completely miserable the entire time, only to get back to the comfort of warmth of your home, dry clothes and a hot meal. And the following weekend, you and your friend are talking about the adventure and how fun and crazy it was. From complete misery, to a grand adventure thatll you cherish for ever and make you appreciate the simplest most basic parts of life.
@@mayadog2497 struggle is necessary to grow, become stronger, bond with other humans and to truly appreciate comfort. also the way our brain works we forgot about the bad shit and only the good stuff remains, usually.

I used to hunt on the weekend when I was in high school so I also know exactly what these guys are talking about, yeah the water from the wilderness when you've been through all that can be satisfying
I'm really starting to love this channel and the great content within. Lex, don't know much about you, but you were undoubtedly born to do this. Thank you for your Good Works (same to Mr. Rosolie)!!!
The fact that so many people are contemplating the idea of living in a simulation is not a flaw- it is an artifact of a civilization that is awakening. It is a recognition that the universe is begotten from consciousness and not the other way around. The jungles and cities we inhabit seem so solid, present, and real, but they are constructs of the mind.
I thought those field were unpopular because: - Behavioral genetics may lead you to Eugenics - Evolutionary psychology may indicate that women and men behave different as groups Its an interesting perspective what you say :)
Water is God. God manifests Himself through water. This is why we call it the Living Water of God. Many good blessings to both of you. May you possess the courage to acknowledge what your Creator has done for you. Much love.
Are yall under a bug net? I live in a temperate conifer rainforest and can't go outside day or night without being swarmed by bugs. I'll literally stand in smoke and still get mosquitoes draining me. Is the jungle less violating than I've been lead to believe?
this just shows a lack of understanding of what the simulation theory is about. Its not about life being meaningless or purposeless, just that the universe may naturally exhibit instances of computation. It could be a pattern of nature to create new worlds and forms of life. It's not the idea that we were put in the matrix by evil robots, but that we are a russian doll within a million other russian dolls
thats another interpretation of simulation theory. But to most people that's not what is about. It's about a developer, a computer, a simulation and us the fake npcs. Both are valid
@@ammm8558 well one, I'm not saying I'm an avid follower of the simulation theory, I just read a book about it once years ago. Two, meaning is for each individual to come up with. For funsies, I'd say that even if we're in a simulation you are still a part of everything, a greater whole. Personally, I don't think humans are capable of understanding what's really going on, so its fun to think about it and talk about, but nobody really knows anyway.
It will hurt if you don’t got Jesus and not saved and walking with him u will got the hell forever and it will hurt and beg for water and u won’t get it so trust in Jesus
Humans have soften up a lot over time. Humanity has managed to loose its compass.Notice that the more we have on terms of technology and self gratification the sader and more miserable people are becoming. The more self centered we become the deeper the rabbit hole 🕳️. Look around. All of existence belongs to a creator who we can't see and are not willing to acknowledge. Thats really too bad. Find your collective perspective, mellow out and except that it's all not about YOU. Try thinking outside of your personal box and look at all of the infinity wonders here on the planet but more so outside into the cosmos where it all really matters. Because our very existence depends on all that's happening outside of this big blinding box. Egocentrism leads to definite corruption and self destruction.😢

Olympic swimming pool worth of sweat. I wouldn’t even be able to do that, got some respect for the ability to wear a god damn suit in the jungle

Yeah you can tell it really meant a lot to lex to have experience all of that.
Sounds like you love it
Beautiful poetic recounting of that journey, Lex

Love the jungle suit!
I feel like I’m experiencing the toughest part of the jungle & I didn’t even have to go all the way to the Amazon.

nah, you need to touch grass more.
Legend says Lex sleeps with his suit on 😂
😂😂
Paul's observation of the 'why' behind some people's compulsion to suggest we are living in a simulation is *WORD to the THIRD* 😍
Try doing all that in military gear with the threat of death all around… that’s Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq
Jungle in afghan & iraq?
in military gear you have many survival tools and resources.
Vietnam
Wasn't the jungle - brokeback mountain.
Here in Germany, we have quite a few trees which, when you cut them, you get water out of them

Lex take the suit off 🤦🏻♂️. My man is dripping 🤣

Amazing story people everyone should listen to it
The condescension from a supposed "enlighten" man is too funny and ironic!
People will say “ there Is no God! It’s insane to believe in a higher power! We obviously live in a simulation though.”
Lex, have you got a lot rest? You look so tired, my friend.
So cheesy

I believe they've made some preparations to be able to shoot usable podcast material in the jungle, yeah.
@Blashmack I hope so. Otherwise I need to move to the jungle. Seems rather nice.
Should have brought Joe Rogan with u
