The level 3 fire challenge continues. A second chance was chosen and a first attempt was made. Was an ember formed? Was a flame produced? Did the worthy campfire happen? Oh, and the ridiculous fire (slow) dance at the end is a must see. 😂

To me looks like you were fighting the way your spindle was wrapped again. You can wrap it to ways I’m not sure how you were doing it this time I just saying something to keep in mind Keep within the bushcraft try a bigger tinder bundle and just put a huge pile of really really small twigs and build up this can work equally as well. Your scraping should have been on top of the tinder bundle

Definitely was fighting with the wrap! I have to try some different methods, I do think the flat 550 was binding on itself more than the round. Still if there's a bind free wrap, I want to get it! Yeah man, my tinder bundles were sparse.... Should have done better! Rushing a fire definitely lessens the chances for success. Thanks for the assessment!

@@Level3Readiness sometimes you have to be careful about blowing on your coals if there’ small and weak you can really affect longevity of the coals if you reverse twist your cords you not sure if you did or not but this can make a difference as well

@@Johnhanddrill yep, I'll tell ya, after watching the footage, i likely had time to build another bird's nest and recruit one of the many newly formed coals to either try again or extend my chances of getting it to catch 🔥👍
