There were like 2 incidents with reactors . One of them was a song called averywholmac. It was a song about his stepfather and there was a legal issue at that time and a email was sent out to all the reactors to take down the videos and if they didn’t comply legal steps would be taken . And this is the same moment of his ex manager hbom was controlling the issue. Some reactors felt disrespected and decided to collectively blacklist his videos. Ez MIL FIRED that said manager and in fact he let some copyrights go so reactors can eat. In his beatbox freestyle when he said 40 mil he hasn’t even touched yet meaning 40 million views he let go get monetized. EZ respects reactors he knows how important they are so much so trying to get noticed by them. Eventually things got aligned the reactor found him. As much heat Ez had been putting out. Scru and Ez track is Top 5 just the whole story behind it. And the other was with Stevie Knight when he criticized his verse on the feature with Eminem saying it was weak but he did insult him more than he had to . I felt the same way Knight did but I know what happened. The Realest wasn’t supposed to happened that way . When Ez had a meeting with Eminem he didn’t know Dre was going to be there . Ez let them here some project he was working on than Dre heard the Realest it had the best with Ez verse on it . Than Dre said yeah Marshall is going to eat this up. Eminem was like yep. What they did was used the Track as a bargaining chip to RCA to release Ez Mil from his contract. That is why there is no Shady Aftermath interscope trade marks on that track . It was a gimmie to have a Eminem track on RCA catalogue. In the ez mil interviews you can tell he was a bit heart broken discussing the creation of it. When he got it back Eminem laid it with his verse and rearranged the beat . That’s how Eminem got co producing credit. And Ez laid his second verse. That is why I felt the track wasn’t right the 2 verses didn’t go and Knight felt the same way. But Stevie and Ez chopped it up. Ez mil respected Knight as he is one of the biggest reactors he watched. He felt more hurt cause he looked up to him just to hear him call it trash. People didn’t understand that and saying Ez sensitive don’t say anything bad cause he will diss you in a freestyle …

For me, speaking on what people look for in songs, I personally look at the beat and flow. If the beat and flow don't jive with me together, it is hard for me to get into it. Secondly and sometimes first is bars and the topic. I personally love pretty much any rap song that is a talk your ish bar heavy , minimal hooks if any at all. I hate hooks, they often ruin a great song because it is used way to much or is to long. Third would be topic. There are some songs I will listen to and just understand or can relate to the topic. Some get added to the playlist, like some of NF's songs, not the greatest but the topic and messaging is on point and others like Tom's political songs, those are one time and done outside of 1 or 2 that have some of my other elements I look for. Like Canceled or fake woke got added to my playlist but was eventually taken off. The Brave 1 and 2 albums are semi political, and I have most of those songs on my playlist for example.
