Retired USAF Vet here… Lackland AFB, is the ONLY base that conducts Basic Military Training (BMT) for soon to be Airmen. This song hits home for me. I had a couple BMT buddies who also went to Med Hold for medical reason out of their control.
Much respect to Ez for actually raising his right hand and swearing in to serve. But fate had other plans for Ez.
Another song that is almost relatable to just about anyone is “Easy Going Millions”. Please react to this song as well.
“Easy Going Millions” was released on Ez’s first album, Act 1. From what I heard on a Podcast that Ez Mil was on, I believe Ez said Dr. Dre liked the song “Easy Going Millions” so much, Ez re-released it on his DU4LI7Y: REDUX album.
Talk about coming to full circle…
I heard Dre really enjoyed Easy Going Millions. Regardless, our man made it and is living his dream.

Ez’s still Flying High ✈️
EZ joined the US AIRFORCE and attended Basic Training in Lackland, Texas.
He got a medical discharge due to severe allergic reaction to mandatory immunizations (neurotic shots).
His military career ended and became a rapper instead.
Just a back story:
Back in the days his dad was a popular vocalist of a rockstar band in the Philippines but after this Era life happened. Apparently, his mom went to China, Dubai and US to work and brought EZ’s siblings with her and Dad went to Hong Kong. EZ was left alone in the Philippines with guardians, life was tough for them. Later on her mom married his step dad and they took Ez to US.
Ez used to write songs on bacon wrappers back then when he was working at Burger King in US to clean grill vents. ( he had to work to support his fam because his step dad mistreated and abandoned them and also to save money to fund his music)
I remember he went live streaming, it was so early in the morning still dark he was walking on his way to Burger King to work, he was venting on how he was struggling to make it. All he wanted back then was to get noticed. He even shouted out people to send his music to Scru or to anyone who can help him out in terms of his music. He also tried joining US AIR FORCE in LACKLAND, Texas( he wrote a song about his journey of his BMT while he was inside the base and it’s called Lackland) Hence, his knowledge of guns acquired ( he likes to use gun bars in his songs with double meanings to relay his message)Now it makes sense why it didn’t work out then, he is destined to be outside US Air Force to make great songs.
He’s been making music and trying to make it in the music industry since he was in his teens. He was doing everything he could by himself at a young age with zero budget. He transitioned from doing death metal to Rap but he ain’t just a rapper he’s a musician, a multi genre artist ( RAP, ROCK, RNB, LOVE SONGS, METAL, EDM, etc) he can play almost any music instruments, can dance, sing, produce beats, write songs/lyrics, edit, directs his own music videos, can speak 3-5 languages /dialects and so on. He literally can do it all. He put up his own label FFP Records together with his fam.
More than 3 yrs ago he blew up in PANALO LIVE ON WISH BUS( now with over 80M views). He also signed a distribution deal under UMG VIRGIN MUSIC but remained an independent artist both creative and music wise. Fast forward today he got discovered by his idol Eminem and made history to the Hiphop industry when he signed to all 3 major labels( SHADY RECORDS , AFTERMATH and INTERSCOPE) making him the only 3rd artist they’ve signed to all 3 labels after 50 cent after 20 long years. (Em and Dre apparently are very picky when it comes to choosing their artists, it was according to them that they both agreed Ez MiL is special. He also broke the record of 1st Asian, 1st Filipino to be signed by all 3 labels of Em and Dr. DRE)He’s been reppin his roots from day 1, he said he’ll put Philippines on the map and he did. Did I mention he’s only 26! Incredible story.. I’m so happy for him. He deserves all the blessings coming his way.
Btw, don’t quote me on this. This is not an official biography of EZ but my summary of his journey from a solid fan’s POV that I gathered over the years of supporting him from different sources available including his own songs, articles, interviews and other materials I deemed reliable.

It was in 2019 when he went to Lackland for basic training. He even went live on facebook at the airport before he hopped on the plane. That's the whole story right there in the song.

He did join the AirForce but was discharged medically. I think that is fate. We would never hear him rapping if he became a military. There's a picture of him in military uniform and haircut and looking at it is kinda nostalgic. BTW, he joined the Airforce because he need to earn a living.
Yes this isn’t metaphors, this is his story..Ez Mil did BMT at US AIR FORCE, Lackland, Austin Texas.. respect to our guy he went through a lot at such a young age.. he uses this life experiences to create music. Music is basically his diary.
This is the reason why I rock him for almost 4 yrs now.. and I’m so honored to witness his journey, he started from the bottom and now he’s here. A lot of people including me can resonate to his music. His story is so inspiring that’s why his pen game is rich and top-tier because they are mostly based on his life experiences..
It all shines thru in his music. He has an unbelievable gift. I feel proud for this young man!

He also was raised to speak english with parents, they also lived and studied in china for years so english must be their way of communication (parents was based there due to work as a band)

There was actually a song he wrote and rap about his step dad a few years ago. Then EZ became known and that video was taken out ( I believe there was kind of complaint from his step Dad). That was a song against his step Dad.

Being a Fan of Rock music and rap music him and his dad is a treat to my ear. The only criticism I can say about his rapping is he need to rap between the beat because it make a rap song more interesting. It very challenging to do though.
