Regardless of whether or not the show is the same, this opening is definitely a strong contender for best of the season and year. So much artwork, creative vision, and density of symbologies bundled into a storyboard amalgamation. And, above all, it connects to the ending. Congratulations to the director of this opening for the great work.

The amount of strange things happening both in the OP and (especially) the ED makes me think they're gonna pull a 180 in the last episodes.

If you avoid looking at it as an opening for an anime and as an artistic means of story telling it conveys the same themes present in the show. It's not all mindless craziness. The ending does as well, I'm curious to see by the end if it's going to be as depressing as presented in the opening and end credits. It's probably my favorite op now tbh.

There's a method to this madness. It reminds me of other, unhinged works of fiction and I love it.

The show has really good ideas, but poor execution. Nothing to do with the OP.
And the style is underwhelming compared to the themes. Studio Trigger would've been better to tackle such themes.

This OP stands in deffiance of typcial anime opening tropes by just going totally off the walls with its crazy surreal visuals. Just looking at this I have no idea what this show is supposed to be about, but it's definitely caught my interest.

Si hubiera salido hace como 10 años y hubiera tenido un mejor final probablemente hasta sería de culto pero es que el villano es un: lo critican una vez y se mu3re. Y creo que se aleja un poco del tema principal además que no soluciona muchos huecos argumentales y tambien que cuenta con un guión bastante aburrido y en muchas ocasiones predecible.
El anime en lo personal me pareció muy bueno en un comienzo, pensé que era algún tipo de sátira o metáfora con una historia más profunda por detrás. Pero al final sólo era un anime sin sentido para promocionar un juego online que fue un fracaso. Tenía muchas opciones, caminos y posibilidades pero decidió quedarse en lo más simple de todo.
Aunque sea le rescato un gran opening y un ending maravilloso.

El anime es un sin sentido y el final es aberrante.. Lo único rescatable de esta obra es su soundtrack, apertura y ending.
Save time by watching only episodes 1 & 2 and then skipping to episodes 7+ until finished. You're welcome. What can I say about this anime? It has its dark and psychedelic moments and the animation studio has really pushed the envelope when it comes to blending different styles and colors. The fight scenes have great action sequence too.

I love the op and ed. Especially as a Breakcore fan.
But i don't know if the anime is really "good" yet. It is crazy and wacky but sometimes really fast and then super slow. And overall story is really lame tbh. Ep 1 didn't hook me at all, but i loved 2 then.
Gives me Studio Trigger vibes and those are one of the best there can be. So i'm interested to see where this is going.

Anime was a little rough around the edges but this OP made it all worth it.
It actively forces my eyes to unfocuse so they don't pop from overload on the second half

You haven't done drugs, have you? LSD is a melty, sometimes peaceful, spiritual experience. This opening is more reminiscent of the feeling that ecstasy gives you.
Ultimately I didn’t like the show. But I will always remember this opening. It captures that raw punk rock anime feeling I got growing up watching FLCL. Instant classic.

I knew something was up when it casually sang "bu-bo-ba-bi" (robot noises) at the beginning. Then I was tripping, but felt refreshed afterwards. Love it!
