Started this game with the demo back in 1997 and still playin' it once in a while, but I think I matched your performance only once or twice in my life. One question though: I never understood what ACC from car description means. The rest are self-explanatory, but ACC? What does it do, precisely? If it's acceleration (like from 0 to 100 kph) it's kinda useless, 95% of the time you drive with the pedal to the metal, flat out, so what's the point of its existence?

tbh I find Smoke to be the best car in the game as even if it's slow, it's grip is superb and thus easiest to smoothly complete every circuit
What resolution was set up? I'm asking because my game is working only with the 320x200... With 800x600 game is not running smoothly ;(
Cape Thor's is probably Smoke's best map... because other than Evac, no car can hit their top speed with that many curves, jumps, and undulations. lol
Finished the whole game on Mirror mode with Smoke! Great game!
smoke is deceptively good. handles and accels well + turbo recharges very fast

Bruh can't play it on Windows 10 mean got to play it but it doesn't save after any tournament and I can't unlock cars and difficulties
I also played on Windows 10 and did not have any problems. Try buying the game from Steam.
