One of the best sports announcers I've ever heard tbh

Why did Molly not have an informational pop-up like the other athletes? Happy to see her in finals, she climbs beautifully.

Seems like all the top tier competitors took a pass on this event to rest and get ready for the world championships.

If Sorato is no top competitor to you, you must have missed the prior comps this season 😅
I agree that many are missing though

If we keep seeing the same countries sending too many climbers then this sport is not growing. It needs more climbers from Latin America, Africa, and Oceania

So - people from grasslands and beaches? There are no Salvadoreans or Ghanaians in bobsled either. It's okay for Europeans and Asians to enjoy sports without forced inclusion.

@IronJohn755 actually El Salvador has mountains, so that's a good place to promote sport climbing.

@@cez19 Promote it all you want. Until the sport develops sufficiently in said area, you're not going to get climbers able to compete at this level. For every Ondra or Janja there are thousands of strong climbers training in the Alps and in high-tech gyms throughout Europe, and traditions stretching back many decades. This is not racism - it's a fact of geography and history.

Same with skiing, pretty much every winter olympic sports, and a good portion of summer olympics sports too. How many kayakers, fencers, pole vaulters, Taekwondo practitioners, synchronized swimmers, water polo players from Latin America or Africa? (I'm sure a few, but you get my point.. lots of sports have issues of accessibility and representation)

I'm sorry but this looks like an awful setting. The spectators are standing super far from the wall. Why?

This is the only way to watch the men's final..A quick recap. Once I saw that 7 of the 8 competitors were from one country I fast forwarded to the women's event. Sorry but it's damn boring when a final is more like a country's national competition. BORING!! IFSC needs to stop this from happening. It's not fun.

How would the colour of their t-shirt determine whether it's boring?

Huh? Climbing is an individual sport, why does it matter where they're from? This ain't the Olympics, it's not nations competing against each other.

It’s still boring. I like seeing a mix of competitors from different countries. Also why I’m complaining I will ask why do the women competitors have to cry and make it all about themselves when they make mistakes? The men never do that.
