Sage goes with beige!!! I have very neutral colours in my lounge room and living areas, and used that muted sage colour as pips of colour. It makes the palette more interesting, but is still a relaxing colour.

I'm in my 50s now, so I really like to watch your helpful styling and makeup content to learn about how I can dress and present myself in the best possible ways, especially how I can style clothing from K-mart.. Kmart is my happy place, too. I get the majority of my clothes from there, but sometimes I don't know how to wear them, so it's good to have your ideas about how to style K'mart clothes. Hi Deb. I have had the malmo bath towels and hand towels in sage for 12 months. They wash well ( rinsed in vinegar ). I did notice a bit of loose fluff for the first several washes but I find them to be the right size and thickness and an excellent price. Your bathroom looks lovely with the sage accessories. You’ve inspired me to check out the black striped shirt. What a great haul! Keep on feeling bored so you go shopping…. We certainly benefit from watching you do all the hard work. I only found your channel a couple of months ago. I love each and everyone of your videos. I love that you can find things that look ok on the hanger and style them so lovely. I went to Kmart this week too and came out with a huge bag as well! Happens every time!! Ha ha!! 😅 The light sage towels are lovely. I think they match the room well and add a nice touch of colour…I have a set in a similar colour and enjoy them. 😊 Love the sage wavy tray and accessories, very nice! Oh, the mugs are cute!! Now I need to go back and have a look at those myself!! 😄 I agree that winter is too long! I’m counting down the days to spring!! We no longer have Kmart here in the US. At least to my knowledge. I worked there for a year and a half before ours closed down. I really liked working there. So am I jealous? Much. 😊

Hi lovely, so far I've washed them once and put them in the drier. I had to empty out the drier filter afterwards as it was FULL of fluff. The towels probably need another wash to be really absorbent, however, another viewer of mine has commented in this video that she loves hers and finds them super absorbent. I washed my hand towels when I bought them a few days later, so that I have a matching set, and this time I hung them out on the clothesline, and I feel that they still haven't lost even half the fluff that the first lot did and so they're not absorbent yet. Next time I'll wash them I'll put them in the drier. I had a set in the charcoal a few seasons ago and they are very thirsty. I feel they just need a few washes to become so. Sorry for the long answer... Basically they're really absorbent but you need to give them a little time especially if you hang them dry on a clothesline. 😚😚
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Great video Deborah. I love the blue jumper on you. Has the jumper been durable? I tend to shy off buying cheaper jumpers for fear of stretching or piling, yet every time I visit KMart I’m so tempted by there range.

It's been quite durable so far-I personally haven't noticed any stretching and because of their sizing I do size down, however, it does depend on how often you wear them, there are some colours that I have worn to death and these have pilled over time, especially one I wore with a guitar strap over it, the front where the strap keeps rubbing against was quite bad, but I do go over them regularly with one of those electric depilling gadgets and that rejuvenates them somewhat. I totally understand your hesitation, and for the price I've enjoyed buying multiples so that I can rotate them regularly 😉😅 Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!😚😚

@@Deborahafter50 well i tried a 3 min video in the reject shop. Omg i was to shaky so not smooth camera work. I was trying not to be seen so was to quick. I then tried using my samsung phone software to edit. I seleted some ok music instead of the sounds of the shop. Added a title at the start. Select half speed on the video but thst did not work. I also could not see how to add a voiceover. This is not as easy as it looks as you woukd know. Do not ask me about downloading to my computer. I could not work that out. :(
Kmart always seems so tempting but I see so much of it in op shops and savers thrift stores….it makes me wonder how much of this cheaply made Chinese stuff ends up in landfill.

We no longer have Kmart here in the US. At least to my knowledge. I worked there for a year and a half before ours closed down. I really liked working there. So am I jealous? Much. 😊

How did the towels wash ? Thinking of changing mine also , but like a very thirsty towel 🤷🏼♀️
Hi lovely, so far I've washed them once and put them in the drier. I had to empty out the drier filter afterwards as it was FULL of fluff. The towels probably need another wash to be really absorbent, however, another viewer of mine has commented in this video that she loves hers and finds them super absorbent. I washed my hand towels when I bought them a few days later, so that I have a matching set, and this time I hung them out on the clothesline, and I feel that they still haven't lost even half the fluff that the first lot did and so they're not absorbent yet. Next time I'll wash them I'll put them in the drier. I had a set in the charcoal a few seasons ago and they are very thirsty. I feel they just need a few washes to become so. Sorry for the long answer... Basically they're really absorbent but you need to give them a little time especially if you hang them dry on a clothesline. 😚😚

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Great video Deborah. I love the blue jumper on you. Has the jumper been durable? I tend to shy off buying cheaper jumpers for fear of stretching or piling, yet every time I visit KMart I’m so tempted by there range.

It's been quite durable so far-I personally haven't noticed any stretching and because of their sizing I do size down, however, it does depend on how often you wear them, there are some colours that I have worn to death and these have pilled over time, especially one I wore with a guitar strap over it, the front where the strap keeps rubbing against was quite bad, but I do go over them regularly with one of those electric depilling gadgets and that rejuvenates them somewhat. I totally understand your hesitation, and for the price I've enjoyed buying multiples so that I can rotate them regularly 😉😅 Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!😚😚

@@Deborahafter50 well i tried a 3 min video in the reject shop. Omg i was to shaky so not smooth camera work. I was trying not to be seen so was to quick. I then tried using my samsung phone software to edit. I seleted some ok music instead of the sounds of the shop. Added a title at the start. Select half speed on the video but thst did not work. I also could not see how to add a voiceover. This is not as easy as it looks as you woukd know. Do not ask me about downloading to my computer. I could not work that out. :(
Kmart always seems so tempting but I see so much of it in op shops and savers thrift stores….it makes me wonder how much of this cheaply made Chinese stuff ends up in landfill.
