Just because Aussie homes have timber frames don't mean they are structurally weak. Our's is a brick veneer home but the frame is solid timber. This will last a hundred years or more if maintained. Another reason why Aussie homes are built using timber is because of insulation. In between the brink veneer and walls is stuffed with fiberglass wool insulation material. That keeps us warm during winter and cool during the summer.

@@kevingray7097 The Uni has advertising boards which show available units/rooms around the area. The street behind Swinburn is called Park street. There's a lot of student apartments on that street. Also check Liddiard street which is next to Park street. Good luck!

akki, I am truly inspired by your efforts and how you've successfully achieved your goals. being a mum of a 1.5 yr old baby, I myself have lots of aspirations. I'd love to have your insights and guidance. I'm a BA (English) with 1st class graduate. I currently teach I government sector in sri lanka. but my dream was always to settle overseas. so I'm planning on doing Master of teaching. could you please guide me because I need advice from someone like you, who has experienced everything first-hand. according to you, what are the good universities I should apply? secondary or primary? or early childhood ed? will I be able to support my baby and husband, I'm thinking of accompanying them as dependents. and I don't want to use sri lankan funds. coz I don't have much. your valuable response is really appreciated. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi at the moment there’s a demand for teaching here.you can do any masters in teaching.however as far as I know you can’t directly apply for Masters in teaching here in Australia coz you bachelors is in Arts, not Bachelor’s in Education (Colombo degree) .so initially you will have to come for Masters in Education but after one semester you can change the course to Masters in primary, secondary or early childhood( from birth up to grade 3 mostly).if u r trying to come to Melbourne, Victoria you can try Victoria uni,Southerncros,Australian Catholic Uni, Federation uni n etc.if you wanna apply for PR after your Masters you have to get VIT registration which is kinda license to work as a teacher.you’ll have to do IELTS academic with more than 7.5 or above.you age matters too.best thing to go n try some agents in SL.but these days all these agencies do not encourage Australia due to high cost.but go check them out!!
