      С68 would only make sense if your body is weird and you need a custom length frame. But it's not better than V4RS otherwise in terms of aero or weight.

    I am fortunate enough to be considering ordering a Colnago and looked at both. Ultimately I chose the C68. For me, it’s beautifully made a classic design in addition to being the more comfortable of the two as I don’t require an out and out race bike.

    54/42, right? Makes memories come back, from the times we used to use those chainrings, but hardly could get rear cogs larger than 28... That's why i now see pros spinning up some steep climbs where 40 years ago we saw the pros of those days crawling up, delivering some incredible torque. Why is nobody commenting on this? Isn't it much easier now to hit those climbs, with a 32 or 34 cog, or even larger?

    • @todd727300
      @todd727300 2 месяца назад

      They did a horrible job of differentiating those frames. Might not really be their fault though, given that Colnago does very little to differentiate them in their FAQ, pretty much word for word what was said in this video. Maybe it's true that bike manufacturers are stocking too many SKUs.

    Alex geometry is not almost the same, that is the biggest key difference. Look at the head tube angle. The c68 is more stabilise while v4rs would allow to take corners real fast. The top tube shape also mimicks towards stabilising.
