Barbarian is easily one of the worst classes in the game ngl. You just get stat checked every time you all in but they also have higher ms so you can't kite out a fight. Feels like you're just pissing into the wind trying to play the class well among all these other ridiculously overtuned classes.

Barb gets kited easily in this kite heavy move speed meta, cloak of darkness for mages with free move speed, free move speed in almost mages whole kit. If you can’t get right on top of someone as barb you lose… I’m guessing ur a cleric or ranger main

this meta calls for me bringing in war maul into every single match along side a bardiche or a zweihander, i hate pdr fighters

Cleric has zero range and you just have to kite out their abilities
14:09 How do you regen health that fast? Is that some kind of exploit with the torch? Do you hit multiple body parts? Why is health restoring even when you are not damaging?
it's both his abilities pairing up. When you hit someone with Achilles strike their movement speed is reduced and they take damage every step they take. The other ability gives you 10% hp back every attack. So every torch swing + step that guy took he was getting 10% hp back
Skinny Pete, you are a far better barbarian than me (You even beat me in a duel) but I highly recommend bringing a war maul with you as well as the zweihander. It makes it so much easier to kill pdr fighters and clerics.
during the stream he changed to warmaul a few times but the dmg output was not there and losing the zweiheinder range made it really hard to beat them at spacing (Which seems to be the only viable choice). Barbs are yous not doing enough damage right now sadly. They are currently the worst glasscannon in the game XD funny how barbes were considered broken a few months back. Devs cant balance for shit XD but who am i to judge i probably couldnt balance this if my life depended on it.
4:45 I feel plate should be adjusted if you have a speed build, and lizard and are still being out ran by someone in 3/5 plate because that is just dumb. prob because light gauntlets give move speed and a blue chapel will have no negative move speed, Thanks Ironmace :)

You need to pair up with some bard-buddy, mate. The shriek will make all those tin cans thin as paper.
trios is being taken over by bullshit triple or double cleric comps, its so broken. clerics can build insane amounts of physical power bonus, high PDR with high movespeed and smite etc allowing them to 3 shot people
As a fellow Zweihander lover, the weapon is just straight up garbage damage wise compared to a lot of other options right now. It really is sad. I was enjoying it again during multiclassing with the rangers backstep, it really helped with spacing people. Think they need to just give that skill to barbarians.

I saw it live. all of them were above 1/4 health and some were even 1/2 or more. The PDR right now is just eating barbarians alive since the damage output is just not there and you have to build barbs for speed if you want to even pvp in the first place so your PDR is prob no more than 20/25%. it was really disheartening watch one of the best barb pvpers just get stat cheked every fight (You coud se fiight were he literaly didnt miss ONE swing and several headshots and the clerics/fighters just kept swinging until the pete was dead. Cleris in particular pretty much kill barb in 2-4 hits clean)
Some times i just feel this game is not balanceable with its current perks/skills/stats functionality, something is always going to be broken. This is probably gonna become 3x as apparent when the arena gets here if ever.

I love how a few weeks ago everyone said "Cleric is so bad in solo's they just get kited." And ONE youtube video showed off this build and now almost all of HR is just clerics lol

Piny Skeet i enjoyed the first half where you got absolutly demolished . Great video of showing us how even you can get abloslutly demolished , thrown away like dirty laundry .. in that first half you got smeard uppon like boogar beneath the chair. Keep up the good content !

@@ayyylma0 fighter, cleric, warlock and druid do while also having ranged options and/or kite.
warlock and bard haven't had a direct counter for months. rogue has no direct counter now. rangers are their own counter (bad aim), but otherwise have no counter.

Barbarians literally F tier right now and nobody understands except other barbarians, its actually depressing. Ive resorted to playing PDR cleric myself and its just so, absolutely unfair.

Yeah you don't put a piece of gear on unless it gives you more ms than it takes (except for chest), that's why they are faster then you.
Yeah, but barbs which e melee focus class with almost not range choice at all (Lets be real francescas are the worst range attack just due to the amount limit) are not able to build enough defense if they want to face anyone on PVP. i understand fighters counter barbs and that makes sense, but clerics seem a little bit overtuned for a "Frontline support" class

Instead of inhibiting yourself by not using range, take some axes to get an advantage before going into melee with plate fighters, I understand why you don't want to but its just frankly disheartening to see you say, "there's just nothing I can do" after going in and hoping you'll dodge more shots then a melee class with more stats then you

This is decent vs the pdr no spell clerics but franny axes really don't stack up well vs fighters with bows or clerics with spells. Most classes have advantage in that scenario so a lot of the time it's best to close the distance and skip that exchange. Just my experience
