Silage 2022. Rowing the steep fields with a Fiat 100-90 Turbo 2wd.

- A bright although breezy day in scenic Dumfries & Galloway watching 2nd cut been harvested. 25-year old and owned from new 2wd Fiat 100-90 turbo rowing up ahead of the chopping team with a Krone Swadro rake. Also making a brief appearance is the farm’s trailed foraging outfit where much more working footage will feature in my next video post in a few days time. Filmed in Southern Scotland June 2022.
Hi david im looking at so many fiatagri's on youtube and all are absolutely amazing tjats why it takes me so long too comment..😮she"s a beauty am i right saying the exhaust is fed straight too turbo as she sounds sweet and lovely too see a two wheel drive with the gaurds on front wheels 😎👍💕them 80 and 90 series from 580 too the monster 180/90 are just pure beautiful tractors ..fiat uno may have never got they'er car's quite right but the italian"s certinley made up for it with their super cool fiat .fiatagr's and early new holland's❤ great video once again david..you never dissapoint..regards damien👍👍😎😎🤘🤘😉😉👍👍
Ah thanks Damien, that’s really appreciated. Yeh absolutely fantastic tractors the Fiat 90 series, you’re right that the exhaust is coming directly off the turbo, what a sound through that straight pipe! Hard to believe this one has done over 10,000 hours but it’s been with one owner from new (27 years now) and really well looked after. Yeh beautiful tractors, you’re right about the cars (though I’ve got a soft spot for the original Fiat 500!) but the tractors, hard to better in my opinion! Cheers Damien, regards Dave.
Really nice 100 90. Very capable tractor loads of power and very tidy.
Hi Thomas, yes the 100-90 is a lovely tractor that has been owned from new and been really well looked after. About 125hp with the aftermarket TB turbo and very manoeuvrable so ideal for rowing up. Thanks for watching and your comment, very much appreciated. Cheers, David

It’s a late 1996 model Thomas with original style decals but a New Holland emblem on the front grill so almost a crossover model. I’m sure it’s a 40k transmission as it’s really good on trailer work. Clocked 10,000 hours now and still with it’s original paint that has never been touched up so you’re right it’s a credit to it’s very careful owners.

Brilliant video David. Absolutely love the way the tractor appears then disappears in the rolling field. It’s such a relaxing sound too, so quiet as all you hear is the noise of its little engine. Good to see a drag chopper as well!

Yes I loved that the Fiat just kept popping it’s nose into the camera as it worked it’s way around the field and you’re definitely right about the peace, an unstressed engine with just a blip of the throttle as it climbed the hills. Plenty more footage of the drag chopping team to come in my next post in the next week or s.

Yeh isn’t it a great old classic Steve. Been on the farm since new and highly unlikely it will ever leave!
