I bought my first Pink Floyd album in 1969 (Ummagumma) and saw them live in 1971 and 4 more times after that. For me This is the BEST band of all times. Now I'm 71 years old and still listen to them everyday.
Very glad you did the live version so you can see David playing the pedal steel guitar!! So many people when they listen to the studio version just assume it's a regular guitar but it's not as you can see!! Wonderful reaction please keep it up!!
It’s really so good watching everything on the screen, it actually sounded like a guitar. I must say I am enjoying this so much. Thanks for watching and leaving this comment.🙏☺️
I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO HIM AND THEM SINCE 79. I'M 57. AND A MAN OF COLOR. RODGER WATERS DID HIS THING SOLO AS WELL. I'VE SEEN THEM LIVE IN RALEIGH N..C. SOUND LIKE THE STUDIO.
Strictly speaking it's a pedal steel. It's a development of the Hawaiian lap steel (which as its name implies was designed to rest on the player's lap) but with legs so it's self-supporting and pedals (like a piano) for added effects. But the sound production - with a 'steel' pressed against the strings - remains the same. I love the 'sliding' notes and the richness of its tone.
Great reaction. It's obvious to me that you totally get Pink Floyd. Looking at your reaction history, I noticed that you have not reacted to Comfortably Numb from this great Pulse concert. Please do this soon! It will blow you away!
I absolutely love them and their musics, can’t wait to check out your recommendation, every piece so far has been amazing, so I am looking forward to Comfortably Numb too. Thanks for watching .🙏
Thank you for following me on this journey, I M enjoying it, and I’ll definitely be checking the video you recommended out next, can’t wait actually.☺️
lovely reaction, im glad that you have found pink floyd, there are so many amazing songs from them for you to react to, id recommend TIME from the live pulse concert, im sure that you will enjoy it aswell as many others
funny you did a reaction to this last week... I had a dream last week and this song was playing in it. I had to jump to Google and figure out what song had the lyric "the ringing of the division bell had begun"
Please react to 'Great gig in the sky'. It always blows my mind. Clare Torry in the studio version done it in 2 takes. The ladies at Pulse knocked it out of the park.
Pink Floyd forever and forever 💕
So shall it be. ☺️👍🏽

No band like Pink Floyd, they're on a level all their own!
I absolutely agree 👍🏽
There is "Music" and there is "Pink Floyd". They brings you somewhere out of your mind!

Wow… they are so good, seeing them live perform must be breathtaking and amazing experience.
SHOW🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
Perfect reaction. RIP Richard and Claudia.
You are right to call it a "piece". Pink Floyd is more than just songs.
I agree with you.💯💯💯
The guitar he was playing is called a lap top steel guitar, he plays it quite often on Pink Floyd songs, not as often as his normal guitar though.
Sounded really good 👍🏽

I've been enjoying following your Pink Floyd journey. Try Comfortably Numb live at the Pulse concert 1994. You'll love it!

Okay, I’ll check that out 🙏
Listen to Marooned by P.F. from The Division Bell album. It's unbelievable. All instrumental and the best tune on that album in my opinion.
Okay, I’ll definitely check that out . I love everything I have heard so far.
(A Great Day For Freedom) Live at Gdańsk
Pink Floyd showing the audience a little bit of sensory overload. Run Like Hell finished them off , though in a fantastic way.
They are really interesting and I love them .
