If there is no snowballing then there's zero incentive to do anything besides sit under tower until everyone is ready for team fights. No point killing enemy gods if you can't get rewarded for it
@@EarthQuaKKi yes Marvel Rivals is hype, it’s also a completely different game and shouldn’t be compared to this one, we’ll see by summer of 2025 if this game will be dead or not but most likely it won’t
Aspects are hype as hell and I'm super excited to see what else they add. Some are kinda... eh... but whatever, I guess that'll happen. I love when a character is super flexible and you can play them in different ways and this is probably the best way they could make that happen some more.
Aspects are a fun way to mix up play while they are still putting in new gods but I have two reservations about this staying in the full game. 1) The onboarding process for new players is already pretty rough for smite 1 because of the volume of gods, items, and map knowledge. Now once you think you know a god you have a variation of it you need to learn which could change how it plays all together. 2) Do we really trust the devs to balance two versions of every god. To quality control and balance every item with two versions of every god. I think this is a great idea to mix things up for the people in the alpha and could give the devs great feedback on how to balance/change or even create gods. I'm just a bit more skeptical about how it will age down the line.
My biggest problem with the game is the player base. Somehow the longer the game is around. The more people there are that have no idea how to play a MOBA. I feel like I'm waisting my time most of the time when I play. As people start heavily feeding from the beginning. Then I'm just waiting to forfeit so I'm not wasting even more time. I have better things to do than loos a bunch of games because. People refuse to look up any information about a game genre before playing.
I’m sure you have new ppl dropping in and out of chat but having to hear you repeatedly clarify how aspects aren’t changes to base kits makes me wanna rip my hair out
I still think smite need a hard movement update and manage to include a more modern godly theme less plants more building, multi level gameplay. Ability to play in the sky and things of that nature. Smite needs to evolve… why would I play this when I can Q deadlock or marvel rivals it just doesn’t make sense. Smite is being left behind. It’s too old school to be called a new game. They won’t even include actual aerial gameplay or improve movement… it’s crazy.
@ hero shooters and mobas carry a lot of the same character and gameplay elements and mechanics, which is why you see hero shooter modes in SMITE. Deadlock basically combines the two. Like a true hero shooter moba.
@@LoganZeigler but then it's not smite anymore. Then it's just deadlock. We don't need them to be the exact same game. Not everyone wants to play deadlock instead. Or some want to play both. Why would you want this game to just become deadlock when you can play deadlock????
@ that’s not what I’m saying, just because you have more movement elements and up and down gameplay doesn’t make it deadlock, it invite a new community and creates a new game that is still the old game which is exactly the mission of smite 2. Pred literally also has up and down gameplay and things of that nature would make for better kits with gods that are known to spend a lot of time flying in lore. Smite is left behind in gameplay mechanics. Which is why they already borrow the zip line mechanic and made it into smites own with the lane teleports from base… all they have to do is take the idea and build it too smite and improve their game. They want players playing smite… not deadlock. Your logic literally killed the game.
@ also, Paladins was the game that made me realize this. That’s their own game. If they can make it with paladins they can make up and down gameplay with smite to help it go to the next level.
Nah I don’t like this. How tf are you going to remember any of this when there’s over 150 gods in the game with 50+ items. How do you balance this? Like it’s a cool idea in theory, but I feel like you completely throw what little balance there is out the window which could work if everything is just broken as shit
Almost like it’s been an alpha this whole time lmfao
Crrrraaaazzzzyyyyy
This community is full of doom posting
That's crazyyy
Travis' video died for nothing 💔
Now this is SMITE 2, this genuinely all looks insane. More playmaking potential, more fun, more farm, hopefully a little less snowballing too

If this isnt hype idk what is
Marvel rivals is hype, this is a dead game

Seem like loki should get some cc with his aspect. Maybe half the ult cooldown or something crazy, but a lot less damage.
I would remove some damage from his 3 also but each hit of his 3 applies a stack of slow.
Anubis they should make it so his circle is just a mega slow with no damage and his 1 and ult share healing/ do a lot less damage
I feel like it was more obvious to make chaac rain heal your teammates lol
Cernunnos gonna be broken af
Support Bellona with executioner or frostbound sounds fun
Aspects start at 25:32 if you would like to skip past all the bloviation.
Clumzy 🐐ed
hes legit an incredible designer, the goat of the team
@demifolk8940 pon pon too

it is crazy that this is the experience of a paywall alpha lmfao
Mfw after like 60 years of Smite they add Paladins talents to spice it up 😳
dude, god loadouts??? SICK

literally lmfao
Okay, fine
Breakables reminds me of Marvel Rivals Mr. Okay. Also idk who says that stop asking
AA Khepri AGAIN????
copied straight out of dota2 lmao, but its not bad dota also added "aspects" not so long ago and it made the game better

Why would Marvel rivals even be in the discussion? We don't compare Overwatch to smite.
